If Miami struggles like they have been, Fitz could also struggle and we'd still plop out a win. There could be worse outcomes than you fear. Fitz starting 16 and we go 4-12 again. Geno coming in and we go 4-12 again. Both of them getting injured in the same game then Petty coming in for the rest of the season, getting ruined and the Jets go 4-12. Again. As much as I hate the idea of 7-9 or 8-8, it's a much better scenario than what we had last season.
I wasn't counting those. I don't know, I've seen several considerably inaccurate deep throws in each of the three games so far. The most alarming misses were his deep throws to Smith in the Eagles game. Two of those could have been big, big plays.
When ur receivers get no separation, it will make anyone look bad. This is the nfl, a game of inches and seconds. Split seconds.
Look the the second half of the pass catching battery in each case and judge accordingly With all due respect, You're forgetting some very promising things he showed...much like sanchez
This is one of those threads that the OP will regret starting at some point, if he hasn't already. Mediocre journeyman player with no upside. Will throw 20+ INTs if he plays all 16. No arm. This great team may be wasted again due to lousy QB play
Yes, Fitz was horrible but deserves to keep the job as long as we are winning..now for the rest of that undisiiplined mess of a team..what was it 17 penalties for 180 yards or something like that?
We are 3-1 but man Fitz is bad. At no point does he give us a decent chance to win unless we run Ivory into the ground. The defense can't win us every game.... we should have put up 40 on the Fins.
Fitz should remain the starter but there should be open competition now between Fitz and Geno. People need to put their petty feelings aside and let Geno compete for the starting job. Fitzpatrick is not that good lol. If Fitzpatrick outplays Geno in practice, then he should continue to start.
