Is that across America or is it just a Jets thing? What about College football don't you have fans singing songs like this?
Last week against the Eagles, maybe second Quarter the entire crowd broke into a near perfect falsetto version of the song from Evita "Don't Cry For Me GIACOMINI". I nearly cried at the end. _

We sing Hank Williams' "Your Cheatin' Heart" whenever New England comes to town. . And they usually play a lot more Rick Astley over the P.A. when we host the Dolphins.
Maybe its because Americans are obsessed with toughness, violence, alpha males whereas British/foreign people don't really care about manliness, care more about skill/technique than how big/fast/strong someone is.
I remember after New England "won" the Super Bowl in 01/02, they showed a bunch of Pats* fans on the sidewalk at the parade, grouped together and chanting "Yankees suck! Yankees suck!" Never mind that their football team was having a fucking victory parade, they still couldn't get over the Yankees. Don't be like that.

Jets fans hate the Pats. Giants fans are in the other conference and never had a reason to, and then they beat them twice in the Super Bowl so they probably don't even care about NEP anymore.
Just like abyzmul said, Giants fans don't care about Pats too much as they have beaten them twice in the Superbowl and twice in the regular season in the last 7 years. They couldn't care less about them. Giants fans also belittle Jets a lot that's why I personally hate Giants even though my 2 kids are Giants fans. A lot of Jet fans are like me and they hate Giants. I don't know if Giants fans hate us because I really don't care about them one bit.
I will admit, I am no fan of soccer, in fact I think it's pretty much awful, but I do wish the NFL had more songs or chants. J-E-T-S is as close as it gets, and its a good one, but I always thought fans bellowing in unison makes for a good sports environment.
