2 season? Seriously? That's not enough time.

I agree, you give Fitzpatrick the Dolphins game then you evaluate the situation during the bye.

You can bank in Fitzpatrick looking like ass. He hasn't been anything special at all.

It's one game...... We can't overreact....... Decker /Ivory not playing hurt us...... If there back next and Fitz and the offense still can't get it going, then we have to consider Geno/Petty

Fitz is in his 10th year and has had numerous opportunities vs Geno who's only played barely 2 seasons with a horrible offense. Even the great Peyton Manning looked like shit his first season.

That defense is not very good. They were even out 4 starters! Quit making excuses for this team.

Yeah but they had rookies and backups playing too so that excuse doesn't work.

Plenty of time to show that he sucked. All he did was regress.

Actually, he played fairly well the first two games. He wasn't asked to do a lot, aside from the last drive against the Colts, but he did what he was asked to do.

Today he was asked to do too much, which basically was to function without a running game and with only 1 good receiver and then to do that from a huge hole when the Jets gave up a TD to the Marshall "fumble" and on the punt return.

Nobody the Jets have on the roster would have done any better than what Fitzpatrick managed today. Despite all the screwups the game was still sort of close at the end until another screwup ended the Jets chances to win it.

If I'm Todd Bowles I am not giving out any game balls today and I'm making the players watch the long punt return TD and the "fumble" three times each in slow motion. I'm then making the players all watch a compilation tape of Fitzpatrick's runs under pressure as the pocket collapsed. I'm then making them watch the 16 running plays in slow motion. At the end I'm making them watch Fitzpatrick's 3 picks and putting the question to the room about why those picks happened.

I'll bet you anything not a single player points at Fitzpatrick when he does that.

And Geno hasn't shown that capacity. Thanks for making my point. :)

He played like a second year qb with no weapons.

You're willing to ensure that again. In front of the world, against Miami? Lol
You should talk to my friends, a Bills fan , a Titan fan, and a Texan fan. That how i know.

Id rather go out with a real qb who makes mistakes than letting the other team stack the box and get embarrassed like that again. Wouldnt you?

Im looking at the sheer inability to complete a pass over 10 yards.

Come on man he didn't look good the first two games, he just didn't look bad. That being said, he looks like a backup it's what he us. He was staring guys down, not going thru his progressions. He wasn't getting hit a whole lot. He was throwing into triple and double coverage the list goes on. He was bad plain and simple.

It wasn't just him tho, I absolutely agree. Offense lost this game, all of them. He didn't put the ball in the air in a tackle or pull down from a catch. He wasn't the person missing the holes.
