The Mets winning the division will over ride the shitty Jets game, so I will not be too grouchy tomorrow.

That is awesome to see. Papelbon going there destroyed that team. Storen lost it as soon as he got there and you can tell he's a complete locker room cancer.

Would love to get on Harper for this too but good for him standing up to that tool.

Matt Williams is going to get axed but doe sit surprise you in anyway that the only city that ha tolerated Papelbum is the city full of assholes just like him. He and Boston where made for each other. Asshole city was perfect for an asshole like him.

You could see this coming the other day, Harper was very critical of Papelbum after he threw at Machado's head saying you don't do that and saying I'm gonna have my head thrown at now because you're an asshole.

And who the fuck is Papelbum to tell Harper what to do anyway? The guys gives 110% every day and the other was a rental cancer who destroyed that locker room. Glad he went to DC

    Congrats Mets fans...

I said it before and I'll say it again...You should never have traded Flores, this team would not be where its at if that trade went down instead of Cespedes.

I'll be pulling for this Mets team...Hoping my Yanks can lock in that home wild card

You're right....no surprise. They're the worst, no doubt. I always recall how they treated the great Bill Russell. God they suck.

That said, fuck Harper too. Prima Donna....Tho he did wish the Mets luck...I was surprised as hell about that. It took the edge off my distaste for him.

Liking the way Thor, Dark Knight, and deGrom rounded into form in their latest starts goin' into the end of the season.....Go get 'em boys

Gotta like that. We have the tie breaker too.

LA goes into SF for four games. SF is still alive and that's a heated rivalry. Would Love to see SF put the heat on LA

    Dodgers with another loss.

With the Phils and Nats to finish the season the home field should be ours for the taking.

Giants keeping slim playoff hopes alive, they could do us some favors the next few nights. Mets up 2 games with 6 to go. Giants not giving up at home could really do us some favors even if we falter. Win tomorrow and see what happens but Mets could get home field.

At this point it would almost be a letdown if we arent playing Game 1 at Citi.

Giants always look to stick it to the Dodgers and actually are still mathematically alive.

I wonder how long until were all panicking that the Giants are on one of their October runs and are ready to kick our asses lol.

I'm always afraid of the Giants in the playoffs, I would rather the mets not have field home advantage and feel no pressure on the road then have to face the Giants with home field advantage.

A Mets/Giants game 1 at Citi would pretty much be a Giants home game too. Their fan base is well represented around these parts.

Dodgers too but not to the same extent.

I think SF has to win the next 2 against LA for things to start to get interesting though..but if any team can make it happens its them.

Isn't magic number 2? SF has to win next 2 to stay alive. Best thing would be for them to finish in tie so they both have to pitch best pitchers in one game playoff.

At this point though, bring on the Dodgers, they are a very flawed team.

Yeah Giants need to pretty much win out and Dodgers need to lose out.

Not gonna happen but nothing is clinched yet.

I agree though the Dodgers are a 2 man band. But those 2 guys could easily win a series for them.

Other than that the rest of their rotation is average. Bullpen is flat out bad other than Jansen. And the offense isn't great. Good chance Puig would miss the whole NLDS too.

I wouldn't say I'm confident that we beat them but I wouldn't be shocked at any outcome when that series is over.

Show down in the west tonight: Bumgarner vs Kershaw. Second and third best southpaws out there...after Matz.....:D lol

I want home field for our young guys. Don't care who it's against.

Really doubt the Giants can pull it off. But you know even if they lose tonight they won't let up on the hated Dodgers. That's a good thing. Put the pressure on...
