seems like they are doing a TON of on field sound in the broadcasts, i heard at least 2 times last night clear as day someone saying FUCK!!!! they also broadcast the beginning of a play call in the indianapolis huddle. it just seems strange to me that they would have all that audio, i mean its not strange that they want to put it out there for all the fantasy fans to get a boner over, but its strange that they actually put it out there and then dont build in a delay to stop stuff that probably shouldnt be broadcast. get your dumb cameras and microphones out of the huddle. we dont need that horseshit or the dumb pylon cam.
it was cool last night though when Guacomini (sp) got nabbed for holding and they quickly put the camera and mic on him to gauge his reaction and he yells "FUUUUCKKKK!" as loud as he could hahaha
does the FCC give a crap? I agree some words shouldnt be heard on TV but these networks are all about the ratings.
woulda been cool to have the pylon cam in that Jets game forever ago when Rob Moore caught a TD and when he fell on the pylon it stuck to him. I can't remember what my old lady told me to "don't forget" when I left the house this morning but somehow I remember that odd quirk from a football game like 25 years ago
I like the microphones and the pylon cam is a clever innovation. We've come a long way from the roof camera on the fifty yard line and it's made for a better experience. Anyone whose tender sensibilities may be offended has the mute button option.
Love to pylon cam. It's not intrusive and maybe 2-3 times a game you get a cool shot. I don't get the outrage. _
I hate those foul mouthed mother fuckers too. Sitting here watching the ball game with my fucking kids, and these assholes spewing fucking filth on my TV. Cock suckers.
you think? i think its awfully gimmicky. im sure they are trying to use it to see if tds are tds but it seems like its not a very good camera and wont give good shots that are more than 5 feet away from it.
oh i couldnt give a damn about the language, i dont like the fact that they feel the need to broadcast the beginning of a play call in the huddle. we have come to the point of over exposure with what the league allows the idiot fans to see. i wouldnt want a mic in my huddle.
I am not one of those censor everything call the fcc and complain guys but a delay wouldn't be the end of the world to keep the cursing off the air a little bit. I don't curse in front of my kids and i'd rather they didn't hear it coming from the tv. if they hear it and look at me i tell them its adult speak. All the same if they limited it i would be ok
i guess. i like watching football the old fashioned way. ill take just about anything over that idiotic over the top camera.
Shopped. No rabbit ears and no way in hell the picture was ever that clear unless you lived next to the tower.
