I saw it while watching the DAL game Sunday, almost screenshotted it for my wife, decided that was too much effort away from watching football, and instead made the post you quoted. After laughing at the reaction here I actually went back and searched through the game yesterday just to get a screenshot, and could not find that 2-3 seconds when they showed just him walking on the sideline. That game was so bad that I had no desire to go back and look through it more closely. The best I can find is this pic from Getty, though it doesn't show the glorious 1920's speakeasy gangster side part and brylcreem wave. I'd be surprised if Mark would have needed a helmet to play with the amount of product he had in his hair:
I'm definitely not letting my sister see this pic. She actually watched the Jets now and then when Sanchez was QBing.
I immediately made both of my daughters leave the room given Sanchez's historical predilection in females. But not before I changed the little one's diaper first.
Considering how many teams have passed on Tebow as a QB in a QB hungry lead I don't think you kill his delusions about being an NFL QB.
There are Qbs in the NFL with worse arms than him. I still think the guy can win as a Qb in the league. It's kind of baffling why no team signs him. It goes beyond his lack of arm strength.
Yes it does, he's got a slow wind up, he's indecisive with the ball, and most importantly he makes me look like an accurate passer. He's a typical example of why great college option QB's very seldom translate in to the NFL game as QB's they often convert to WR's or RB's in the NFL who can on occasion run, what used to be called, the half back option trick play.
You know it's ironic that in the end Eli Manning turned out to be Mark Sanchez, the only difference is Eli managed to get 2 Super Bowls instead of two Conf. appearances and they've both been riding that until people stopped being in denial that they actually sucked
He wins games and isn't just some guy you're better than. I thought he looked pretty good against us a few weeks ago. But if he still wants to play he has to go to the CFL. He won't get a chance in the NFL.
The team won a few games sure, but he's still only 2 games over .500 and .500 in the playoffs. But wins and losses are a team stat. And remember, Tebow may have looked good sure, against the 3rd stringer and soon to be cut guys.
True he looked good in the Patriots 4th game of pre-season too and threw 2 Td passes. And got cut by Belichick and his old Denver HC and the guy who drafted him. The thing is with Chip if he thought Tebow was that bad why not just cut him early in the process. Why keep him around if the guy like he said isn't good enough to be a third stringer. Personally I'd rather be a starter in the CFL or on the SEC Network than a guy who never plays and just runs the scout team in practice. I just think he's better than that, got a bad deal with the Jets and he's a guy who led his team to the playoffs and won a playoff game vs Pittsburgh. I don't think he was lucky or they won in spite of him like his detractors say. He's a flawed player but one who knows how to win.
