    Here is my simplistic approach.
Four man front most if the game, with snacks, Mo, Sheldon and the Lion. Attack the center of the pocket and move Brady out.
Everyone else holds their position, no blitzes unless third and super long. Camp in the middle of the field close to Gronk and the two dwarfs.
On offense, be unpredictable, but leverage the run, wear the D completely out.
Above all, control the tempo and minimize mistakes.

PS. Special teams need to excel and contribute to the victory.

If Brady bothers us we just gotta cut the hamstring at the bottom of his leg, that way everything is to the left..... no really guys, I got nothin.'

.... With all due respect Gronkowski would fuckin destroy Buster Skrine dude. That's a horrible idea. Skrine is only 5'8 165. Gronkowski has 8 inches on him and probably close to 80! pounds on him...
You try to have Skrine jam Gronkowski at the line and Gronkowski will toss him like a rag doll. That's a huge, huge mismatch. I'd rather throw a LB on him if I feel like making a horrible mismatch for my team.

Gronkowski looks like he's running wild un-touched because he is so dominant at the line. He's absolutely getting bumped at the line! teams recognize how important that is. he's just knocking those bitches away like fleas most of the time.

He can't be covered 1 on 1 by anyone really but he can be contained. The only blueprint for any success against him when we play him will be double teams, especially across the middle... with a bigger CB/S type like Cromartie or Gilchrist following him around. even that I dont feel really confident about but its our Jets best bet at limiting him. You put Cromartie on him and then double with Pryor over the middle and Pryor hits him hard making him pay every time he catches it and that will help.

but Buster Skrine on Gronk? eeeeewwwwww

Lol they are nowhere near the team to beat in the NFL. Why, because they beat a shitty steelers team and overrated Rex Ryan defense? Give me a break!!!!

The jets are definitely in their league!!!

Check the Steelers game, no one touched him down the sidelines until he got close to the EZ [the first TD]. He had a free release dude.

Maybe Skrine is a bad idea, but my intentions are to try and throw off their timing, sure we can use Revis but then you got Edelman running wild. Maybe you find a way to double team him instead.

I think a linebacker is actually worse. DeMario? That actually could end up worse considering DeMario can't cover anyone AT ALL.

To me, it's just about ruining their timing. That's why AA was so crucial, he was an excellent hybrid. Actually I was thinking about Gilchrist, but for some reason, I thought of Skrine.

AA was able to hang with Gronk you are right about that. And then genius Rex replaced him with Reed!

Gronk definitely is a match up nightmare. I think the best way to limit his production is jam him at the line with Coples or Pace to ensure that he doesn't get a free release. I would then try and use Martin, who I think has a skill-set similar to Allen, or maybe Lattimore to cover Gronk with a safety over the top. This would allow the Jets to use Revis to cover Edelman.

Pressure is Brady's achiles heel. Get at him every down and rattle him, don't let him get a rythum. Put his ass on the turf at least once a drive

Leave him uncovered for a while and let him get some small catches, with Calvin Pryor coming in to lay the thrashing. Hopefully he breaks his arm or something. If that isn't working for us, try something else. Prayer?

He definitely doesn't like getting hit. He gets up glaring at somebody most of the time.

I forgot about Martin actually! That's an excellent point. About Coples and Pace - you want those guys going after the QB and / or eating blockers up.

Gronk is a tough one for sure, Edelman moves the chains for the Pats, you gotta limit the 3rd down conversions.

For that game, I'd use a 4-3 defense instead of a 3-4. This would allow the Jets to use a 4 man front of Wilkerson, Williams, Harrison, and Richardson to stop the run game and generate a pass rush up the middle. Figuring out subs would be difficult, but I'd rather the Jets use the strength of their d-line and remove one of the LBs.
