People always say this as if these players are walking up to media members on the street and pleading their case. Remember, these guys get bombarded with questions on a somewhat daily basis . . . occasionally they let their guard down and stop being phonies for a few seconds. It happens.
Slot receivers in NE avg 5'-6" 100 lbs, can't block a wet paper bag, but have put up some of the best numbers in the NFL. Why is Gaileys offense the only one in the NFL that requires a blocking TE as a slot receiver? I know blocking downfield for Ivory is important but sooner or later you're gonna want a slot WR not named Marshall to catch a pass.

Doesn't sound like they're trying to get him involved at this point with Enunwa & Owusu playing well and Devin now returning. It'll probably take at least 1-2 injuries for Kerley to get a shot.
