At least be honest, Sanchez as a Jet had a .530 winning percentage and then only one season more than 1 game over .500, in 6 seasons he had 2, yes two, seasons over .500.
actually while we're on that subject, yes he has a nice passer rating in the playoffs. he ranks 7th career there, but as always the devils in the details. His 26 attempts per game ranks him waaaay down the list, like waaay down the list..I mean way down deep dark down the list...around 100th in career playoff attempts (estimate, the list only goes down to 50 and cuts off at 32 attempts per game. Easy to have a decent passer rating if your not throwing the ball much.
Sanchez was turning into a nice QB here in Jets land until they decided to rob him of his weapons and o-line. He would have or never will be as good as the Elite Qb's in the league (does not have that kind of talent) but he could not handle this crazy fan base and media. The funny part is he is still better than any QB we currently have on the roster (Lets hope Petty will end up being better). He helped us to two championship games especially in 2010 and I thank him for that. (you do not carry a QB in this league he has to make plays for your team to win how many plays he needs to make is dependent). Bradford has a rocket arm and is accurate (he throws a real nice ball) he is already hobbling around Sanchez will another chance in Philly.
I would take Fitzpatrick over Mark. Neither of them are above average. You'd have to give it to Mark over Geno based on how they played last season. But if I had a choice I'd choose Geno over Mark.
Haha yeah, I expect him to have many performances like that this year. That is a tough call with Fitz or Mark. I'd probably go 1. Mark 2. Fitz 3. My Grandma 4. Geno.
whats a first down marker? 6 years of Sanchez/Geno Smith/Rex Ryan and I forgot what that thing even is
Bumping this to note simply that Sanchez was looking guapo as f*ck on the sidelines yesterday. Had a part in his slickly styled hair and everything. Looked like something out of an A/X print ad, but in shoulder pads and an NFL uniform.
The Eagles btw cut Stephen Morris the former U. of Miami Qb that Chip signed after cutting Tebow and signed Thad Lewis who imo is a decent NFL Qb. He's had some success when he's gotten an opportunity to play. I actually liked Morris at the U but he has no NFL experience and Lewis does. As for Tebow, I thought that Chip was pretty harsh with the guy even if he meant what he said that Tebow wasn't good enough to be a 3rd string Qb in the NFL. There's better ways of cutting a player without killing their confidence like that. Belichick cut him too but didn't say anything as low class as Chip did. Looks like Tim is kind of finished in the NFL and apparently does not want to go to Canada.
