We were 24 before the week started. We are now sitting at 16. Highest 1 week jump with +8 among 32 teams. A win next week in Indy will sure make us much more respected around the league. http://espn.go.com/blog/statsinfo/p...ootball-power-index-rankings-for-september-15
The best example of why the ESPN Power Rankings aren't worth anything outside of the top 3 and the bottom 3 is that beating the Browns at home was worth a 25% jump in the league rankings. I'm tempted to think that if we had lost that game we'd have suddenly been ranked 32 out of 32.
That's strange, I just dropped ESPN's Power Rankings from 156th to 728th in my Power Rankings Rankings. They almost fell below Timmy Thompson's NFL Powur Rankings on GeoCities, but the fact that they have actually updated their page more recently than 2001, and that their page actually still exists, kept them slightly ahead.
Their primary rankings have us at 21. Up from 26. http://espn.go.com/nfl/powerrankings/_/year/2015/week/2
Wasn't trying to come off that way. Appreciate the link, agree with most of it. Just felt the Colts at 4 was ridiculous. Do post ESPN stuff.
No worries man. I was trying to aim abyzmul and Stokes. I agree with what you and Brad says though. I knew you hated me. How dare you? champ style..

Those are power index rankings - different from power rankings. We are 21 in Power Rankings. They are way different.
