The first punt was good. Second one not so much, but that's what happens when you punt your from own endzone. The third punt was just inches off being great, instead it was a touchback. 50+ yarder that bounced from the goal line back to the 1 yard line and then out of bounds. It was impressive actually, just a couple inches off. Whatever happened Weatherford anyway? Is he now a full time fitness model or did anybody pick him up?
-Best offensive weapon in Marshall we have had since I can remember (have we ever had a player with his talents?) -I Like Marcus williams alot...I remember against Miami last season when L.Miller went off on his long touchdown run Williams chased him all the way,it looked like a futile effort but he never gave up...I remember thinking this guy has what it takes.... -Revis looks kinda big/slow...maybe i just expect perfection from him -Ivory has improved on his pace and quickness he seems to get the egde when you think he has no chance... -Decker is deceptively fast...I think he will lead the team in receiving yards... -The hit Skrine put on Manziel might have led him to have all those turnovers...watch it again...im surprised Manziel got up as fast as he did...maybe he had no clue where he was.... -POINTS OFF TURNOVERS....under Rex we lost this as well as our special teams...we have one back hopefully we can put Kerley out of his misery (trade him to Carolina) and get some semblance of a punt return.. I think this team can make the playoffs and make some noise once we get their...the truth is we have NEVER had this many weapons on offense..Imagine if Smith turns out to be a decent receiver with his pace...we could be a tough matchup
Jaiquawn was terrible Sunday. Not only did he blow the coverage on the TD, but he blew coverage on at least 2 of the 3rd and long conversions.
He didn't blow anything, that was all on Cromartie. Stop trying to look for excuses. JJ played 4 snaps in total so the second part even without having reviewed the game enough to say whether it's BS or not...at least sounds like complete BS. But the first part is definitely BS.
I read what Bowles said that the TD was totally on Cro, but it looked like he was expecting help. Maybe it is all on him, but JJ blew his coverage on the long 3rd down completion to the Browns TE in the first quarter. I don't know his total stats, but I felt like anytime I saw #37 it was because he did something wrong.
Leave it to Bowles to see that and make a move in that direction. Bowles owes nothing to Coples so a transition at OLB is certainly not out of the question. I happen to like Reilly as well. Great story and a kid with a lot of heart/motor.
Bruh... Rex Ryan runs a two gap defense. This is an absolute fact. You are very wrong on this point mayne.
You are correct DB...Pace was bad...but saw Coples multiple times not fight through blocks Coples is solid when he has space but creates little when he is picked up...very little. Not a fan of his yet...he needs to learn the term motor....when he does he can be special. As of now....he is motorless.
I'm not even going to argue this anymore. I just want to ask you: You have watched some Jets games hopefully, and you honestly believe that Sheldon and Mo were two gapping for us. Just say yes and we're done.
