We'll see if Coughlin can overcome this one. Great way to start the season and as annoying as Collingsworth is repeating himself over and over again he's right. No wonder Spagnola got fired. It's mostly on Eli though. Glad not the Jets hopefully Bowles is never this inept.

Until that sequence, I was getting worried we'd start to get the 2007-2011-2015 eerie synochrity of 'Coughlin on the hot seat before the season, wins a Super Bowl during it with a miracle run'.

Of course if disciplined he'll appeal and win.

Such did nothing wrong in that play. His knee hit into his helmet. Its fucking bullshit how they are always trying to assassinate him character wise.

I thought the biggest win/upset not really an upset but a possible indication of a changing of the guard in the league was the Rams beating Seattle. Wow it sure looked like Chancellor being out hurt them. I bet many Seahawk fans are saying pay the man. Foles had a good game. Add in the Cards beating NO, the Niners looking like a shadow of their selves, and the NFC West is going to be very interesting this year.

That Rams defense is no joke. Seahawks offensive line is in complete shambles too. James Carpenter looked really good for us yesterday, outside of that holding call.

The thing with Foles is he's on the field for the Rams. When Bradford was injured they had to go with sub Qbs like Kellen Clemens one year and others. So you should get a better performance out of the Qb position. And their D is very good. The difference in money with Chancellor isn't that great but he also wants a pass on any fines.

Yeah, the Rams stopping Marshawn Lynch on that play was awesome. I don't know how many have noticed before yesterday, but they have been improving into a solid team. Jeff Fisher imo is one of the better HC's in the league, and he is making his mark there.

wow the Giants made some horrendous decisions. I'm not a "deserve to lose /deserve to win" type guy but damn did they deserve to have the Cowgirls take it down the field for a TD, just awful. So many unforced errors on their last drive its unbelievable but most notably- why did Manning throw the ball away on that last 3rd down.. .at least try to run and burn clock if no one is open?

Also, why not go for it after that on 4th and goal from the 1? Worst case scenario you get stuffed and burn some clock and the Cowgirls have to start their drive from the 1 yard line with no timeouts down 20-17. Best case scenario you run the ball for 1 stinking yard and WIN THE DAMN GAME. Instead you kick the field goal to preserve time for them AND give them the ball at the 20 with more room to work, only up 6? so f'in stupid. I'm glad they lost

If you're a Giants fan you have to feel like the Little Bill character in Boogie Nights - I mean right out from under their nose. :D

To think, I thought Jeff Fisher was going to be out that door soon. They got 4 first round picks on that defensive line and it showed today when they dominated the LOS.

If Foles can continue to be decent and if they get that running game going when Gurley comes back, watch out for those Rams.

    (note: always around the neck/head)

Poor guy.....why's every body always picking on him?

It's not like he stomps on people....

or needlessly throws dirty blind chopblocks at the knee behind the play ....

Or goes completely overboard with the neck-twisting and head hunting.....

Or just happens to accidentally kick someone square in the nuts...
....or was he looking to kick the QB's throwing hand? ...

Beast or not, the guy's an absolute piece of shit on the field....a Conrad Dobler with elite talent.

Suh is a beast who deserves more press for his play and less for stupid piddly shit. He's one of the best around and his "issues" are well, inflated.
