He's not bad at all. People feed into the media dumb shit. Cro has never lit it up in training camp, he had a solid preseason, and he's a proven player. He had one bad play, which wasn't really that bad when you review the play. He thought he had help over top, he played the route as a hot read, short throw situation. It makes sense because Cro knew we were sending the house, so when you trust your team, you trust that the ball will come out faster then it did. The play was bad because of many factors, not just because of Cro. He contributed because he made the wrong read, but it was the right read to make in all actuality. It just didn't pan out the way it should have.
I don't think Revis looked all that yesterday for what it's worth either..he looked slow and tired throughout the game and how many passes did they complete that were thrown at him anyway, 6, 7, 8?
Definitely looked liked the island was flooded at times - multiple receivers caught passes when matched against him. Thank Brandon for the game changing turnover!!!!! Cro did recover the fumble in the endzone and his injury led to a brief spell where everyone under performed. Most important thing is to win and win well when you under perform - who would have taken a 31-10 scoreline before the game (I Know I would have 100%)
I'm hoping he sits out this week but you never know, guys get cleared within days it seems after suffering a concussion.
Great news about Cro. He's one of my favorites on the team. It would have been very hard to come back from a worse injury. Hope he gets back in there soon.
You're not wrong, Revis looked average yesterday and thats being nice. Don't know what was up with that.
That would be the safe bet, the best thing for him I'm sure. No need to put his long term health at risk over 1 game..
Great news...we're 2 for 2 in that department today. As much as I think he has lost a step we're ultimately better with him in the lineup.
Revis allowed three completions yesterday with 6 targets for 37 yards lol @ConnorHughes Browns thew at Marcus Williams 7 times. CB allowed just 3 completions for 38 yards + had INT. Revis allowed 3 comp on 6 targets for 37 yards
I highly doubt he'll come back that soon. You don't suddenly collapse on the field, doctors checking your pulse to make sure you're alive, get taken off on a stretcher, and then come back to 2 weeks later to live contact. His concussion looked serious and career threatening. I'm not a doctor but I feel he'll be out at minimum 4-5 weeks. As fans, we want him to come back sooner for our own selfish pleasure to see the team do well. But I truly hope he takes his time wit this.
I'm glad he's ok. But disappointed Bowles will probably kick Marcus back to #4 instead of starting him.
He gave up some of those on 3rd down didn't he? I think it was at least on 2 occasions. 2009 Revis doesn't allow that to happen, but I need to temper my expectations I guess.
