Idk how that's possible. I always, always hold out hope on these things, except this one time..and he's ok.lol Well excellent news!
Thank God. My first thoughts were "This kid fights his whole life to get where he is and he ends up with a career ending injury in his first game? Fuck You Universe"
to me it looked like: -cro knew the call was a blitz (we sent 7 on that play - probably a cover 3 behind the blitz with one guy in the short middle and one guy reading the back to either rush if the back stayed in or cover him if he went out) -cro assumed it the ball would come out hot -cro sat on the outside and looked to jump the first move the wr made -wr turned it upfield, cro thought he had help but it being cover 3 and TE on the seam on that side jarret had to honor that first i blame alot of things that play: 1) we sent 7, but manziel had plenty of time to slide left and throw without being hit/pressured/obstructed throwing lane 2) cro for being overly aggressive on 3rd and 19 3) jarrent for not playing softer, he did have to honor that seam but he could have hedged it better. again it was 3rd and 19.
So very very happy for Cro that he's not severely hurt. But the way Marcus played yesterday...don't rush back, take your time lol
good news! we'll need him. agree with others tho, let Cro heal up and keep Williams out there for now.
I often wondered about that. cro would make a better free safety at this point. coaches most likely don't see him in that role because of his reluctance to tackle.
Awesome news!!! We're gonna need him this year! Nice to have a very good replacement during his healing process though
i still don't think he's nearly as bad as people are making him out to be. he's still an important piece
For those that believe in those things maybe this is a sign that the Jet's Karma is changing. First Maudlin is ok and now Cro is ok too and who would have believed that after seeing them on the field yesterday. And the blurb I got from both CBS and Yahoo sports said he can play this week.
When he passes the neurological exams and is given the ok by the team doctors, there is no timeline as to how long or short the window is.
he should not play until fully recovered. at least we now have roster depth, and some guys who can play in games even at the bottom of the roster. hard to do that when you have a qb sucking 20 million a year on your team. see the colts for example.
Great to know he said he will be "perfectly fine" also. Great great news!! Now get them green dreads out there boy! But heal first haha
Absolutely. 21 points off turnovers yesterday. Mauldin and Cro escape potentially HUGE injuries. I think our karma is changing too.
Glad he's OK - that injury ruined my mood the entire afternoon, really want that guy to be great, he deserves it.
This is the best news we could have hoped for. That's the first Jets win in a long time where I was upset afterwards and not really enjoying the result.
wow really happy this wasn't more serious.. i don't think he should get out there too soon tho. that's a real nasty head injury he took. might be time to get Babin on the line.....we could use some pass rush anyway.
