Wow. First Mauldin isn't in a wheelchair, now this. Really positive last 16 hours on the injury front.

very happy to hear this. as well as MW played in his place, i still like having cro out there and think that he will bounce back from his rough start

I think Cromartie as a 5th or 6th DB playing a ball-hawking role would be big!

So relieved about this more than the Cro news.

I think we should start Revis/Williams outside, Skrine in the slot and put Cromartie in the Tyrann Mathieu free rover role that Bowles used in Arizona. Thoughts? Cro may get beaten deep in man to man but he's an outstanding ballhawk and is good for multiple takeaways a year.

From what i saw on that Manziel TD was a pass off to Jarrett, so I'm assuming it was a zone coverage (I didn't re-watch the play) and Cro didn't think he should have followed Benjamin. Besides that, did he get burnt at all? I'm confused with the negativity in this post. Anyone re-watch that play?

this i would sign up for in a heartbeat. bring him in for dime packages and let him use his speed to just break on balls. he does have a knack for that

he definitely was under the impression that he had help coming over the top on that play.

Bottom line is that the more competent DBs we have in this league, the better. I'd take Cro any day over CBs like Milliner and Kyle Wilson.

if bowles thinks cro can start outside im fine with it. he coached him in arizona, im glad to let him make thta call.

cro is out probbaly 4 weeks when you factor in slowing him back. that gives williams and mcdougle or skrine opportunites to show they can play. williams looked good on sunday. bigger test on monday night coming

WTF? This is literally the most stunning injury result news I've ever seen. Non-contact, knee-joint-turned-to-jelly, followed by a collapse and agony. That's 100% an ACL tear every single time. Cro must have some insane genetical makeup.

That's good, I wouldn't wish serious injury on the guy.

That being said, I hope he takes his sweet time coming back as he hurts us as our #2. Man-to-man he's an awful corner.
