Make no mistake folks.. Next week we will be tested. It won't be Crazy McCown or Johnny Football we're playing against. It will be Andrew Luck who got handled today by Rex & Co. My guess is that being on the road, we'll be attacked just like Cleveland did as film is always available on any team on any given Sunday. I'm hoping Casey and Bowles come up with an effective gameplan and Gailey recognizes the box-stack that we'll be seeing a lot of lately. Teams know not to allow us to establish Ivory/Powell and the weakest link is Fitz. They will force us to beat them thru the air until we prove we can regularly. That's where Marshall and Decker and at some point, Smith comes into play. The games have begun! Release the Hounds...!
Hard to say TN. Look, Gailey moves his pieces according to what he has to work with. Geno has an entirely different skillset than Fitz and as such, creates a completely different gameplan. Geno is a different Qb and as such, creates a different gameplan for Gailey. Different plays, different situations, different everything. Would we have lost with Geno at the helm? Nobody can say.. We won't know the answer until Geno returns and actually plays in a tight game. Until then, no one can say one way or the other..
Kind of hard being quick when he's lugging that vault full woodys money around, hope he leaves it at home the rest of the season, I was far from impressed, but obviously he's not the same player he was prior to being traded
Feels good to win, and the best part was the professionalism and SILENCE of the coaching staff. Hats off to you Mr. Bowles
I'll be happy when we beat the Colts,The Browns were pretty horrible.....I'm very optimistic for the first time in years. But I won't get excited until after the MNF game on national TV .....We have a chance to be taken seriously again
Wtf are some people whining about Revis having a bad game? Did he give up a td? Did he get burnt? Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
Dude learn your routes. They were underneath throws on ins and outs. Virtually impossible to cover. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
One thing Bowles preached during the offseason was the importance of making in game adjustments. This was the deciding factor IMO in the game today as we saw a totally different Jets squad in the second half. I don't remember this from previous regimes as CMan said. Congrats on the win Bowles and Jet fans, let this be a message to the rest of the league!
Fitz was solid until he decided to start chunking it; but wasn't that part of his scouting report that he starts acting like Farve with his Pennington arm? He was solid today when he was mixing up shortish stuff with a shot or two. He got greedy and tried to gun it down field and it ended up under throwing it.
You sound stupid. Just stop. Man to man is when you call those types of routes dumbass. Not zone obviously cuz there no one person straight covering him so the move doesn't matter as much. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
He's right tho. Whether you agree or not. They are a simple out pattern that we have seen Revis shut down people on a regular basis. He was playing off pretty far for some reason and was very slow to close against a pretty crispy receiving core
He's not even close to right, revis has never shut those routes down like that. Don't confuse shutting deep routes down to shutting all routes out. It's simple football 101 revis or not Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
