Definitely praying for the kid. He's been through way more than any human being should have to endure in their lifetime and now this. Please God let him be ok. <3
had to step away from the game for a while so not sure what happened to him, but truly hope he is OK. He's the last person you want to hear something bad happened to. He's been through so much already and it was great to see him start showing promise. Here's to hoping he first gets through the initial phases of recovering from an injury, and second if possible rejoins the team and fulfills his potential #55
Great to see so many people praying for him!!! ....I will include him in my prayers as well. Of course, it seems like Mauldin is a great guy, with a big heart, so he will be fine in the long run, regardless of the outcome of his injury. Of course we are all praying his recovery goes well.
That was a pretty scary scene, I hope he's okay. Guy went thru a lot growing up, made it to the NFL and on his first big play he gets badly hurt, that's a tough one. Hope for the best.
This actually makes me feel a little better about the injury. Possibly a bad concussion, momentary blackout, but doesn't seem like a spinal injury. Obviously not good either way and I am not a doctor but trying to look for positives.
The weird thing is it didn't look like he took any odd hits and he even got up after the play. I'm no doc so I won't speculate but hopefully he is ok
The very last jet in...seems like he took a knee to the head. Not the first jet that the Tv guys focused on...ball was out already. That might have been it? That's all I saw. God bless...hopefully like a poster above said it was just a blackout. He did get up for a few seconds then collapsed
I'm not a doctor obviously but that doesn't sound like it's a bad thing in this case. Sounds like it's concussion related rather than a neck injury. I just hope he's ok, whatever it is. Nothing that'll affect him in the future.
I read and heard he got up after being hit in the head and then collapsed. It doesn't sound like a spinal cord injury, but who knows. First thing I checked on after getting back from the game.
Puts things in perspective. I really don't care about the win at this point. Until we get some good news this whole thing just sucks today.
They said he got up took two steps and fell flat on his face....I have no idea how he could have gotten up and walked if he was paralyzed but I also don't know what that may have done to the initial injury.
