Rex is gone--get over it. The jets did not have a winning season his last 4 years here. It was (past) time. You're obviously having trouble with Rex being fired--deal with it.
Go look at my post history you dolt. I was very in favor of moving on from Rex. That doesn't mean I'll take anything away from what he accomplished year and the two great years we had with him as our head coach. You sound like a bitter ex-girlfriend over the split. "Yeah well now that he's gone he sucked!"
What he accomplished year? I guess you skipped proofreading 101. And you call me a dolt(?). And you have to kidding claiming that I am "bitter" over Rex being fired by the jets. I think my first thought was "there is a God and he loves me." I think 94Abrahahm, TNJet, and NC jetsfan, and I were all equally thrilled when Rex got his walking papers, but you'd have to hear that from them.
appreciate your help, but it was Rex's last 4 years that the jets did not have a winning record, not 3. 2011 8-8 2012 6-10 2013 8-8 2014 4-12 That's 4 non-winning seasons here's hoping the new regime can give us the playoffs or at least a winning season. Got nowhere to go but up after Rex's 4-12 last year.
Actually, what did he accomplish? It says more about the sad history of our team that you think he "accomplished" shit. No division, conference, or SB titles, followed up by 4 straight losing seasons. What did he accomplish? All he did was more than most of the shitty Jets coaches before him. Not much to be proud of REALLY.
Well you answered your own statement really. In context for THIS franchise Rex had accomplished more than most in the past 30 years of this franchise. It was time for him to go because his routine, play calling and schemes have become stale in this league since it's so predictable. The Patriots playoff win is the single greatest sports moment of my lifetime and many other Jets fans. Say whatever you want about how his accomplishments do not weigh much in the grand scheme of the league but they do in this franchises history.
