so apperantly it only took him 30 seconds to get over losing geno for 6 weeks.... thats 29 seconds longer then id had assumed.
In my years as a Jets fan I've hated Miami more than New England (though the gap is close now) and hated Jason Taylor coming here as much as anyone. But I think his comments regarding Todd Bowles carries more weight for that reason, not less. Even though he played here and doesn't carry the same hatred towards us that he once did he also has no reason to "fluff" us.
I watch his show all the time and I respect his opinion however he Is a dolphin and I hate them more than anything, thank Don Shula for that
http://m.nydailynews.com/sports/foo...courting-dolphins-free-agent-article-1.166347 Apparently its just Jets fans Taylor hates
There was a thread on this about this and everyone was spewing hate for Taylor, if I get really bored which probably won't happen, I'll go back and bump it
If Coach Bowles can get a win after the bye, not run out of timeouts at the end of every half and not have a defense that regularly gives up the big play on 3rd and long, I'll be happier than I have been the last few years.
To this day I refuse to eat at his steak houses. I've passed up free dinners at his five star restaurants. I hear it's fantastic, I'll never know. You literally couldn't give me a free meal at Shula's.
Watched his most recent presser and was sick at hearing reporters try to sir shit up- repeatedly asking the same questions after he clearly answered the Marshall comments. Our media is a disgrace All about headlines Props to Todd for taking the high road
You're in luck. Here's Arians saying something similar during an NFL roundtable. And during a press conference.
Don't blame the media, that's what they're there for whether you like it or not. They don't care about the team, the players, the coach, they just want to make money. And they'll do whatever it takes to accomplish that. Blame the players for putting Todd in this situation. Between Sheldon's stupidity, Geno getting his jaw broken, Brandon using his HBO gig to stir the pot, it just doesn't help. These idiots need to understand that. Shut up, focus on playing football. Don't be controversial, don't get arrested. Stop being an idiot.
You are correct 100% I feel same way- these guys need to just shut up and play I Was just annoyed how they wouldn't accept his answer
Except as everyone knows it's 100 times worse in NY than anywhere else..in all but a couple of those cities they have no one to compete with but themselves, here there are 20 newspapers, 10 tv stations and 30 radio stations all trying to ask the same question 100 different ways..I agree it all gets tiring.
I accepted this mentality they have in NY a few years ago. When this Rex mess started, the year/s of Tanny, when Idzik joined. In Cleveland you can get away with anything. Look at the Manziel mess, it barely gets any coverage. This guy was almost caught doing coke, he's got alcohol issues, he's in rehab, he's a mega bust, his elbow is messed up, and yet nobody cares. Same with Josh Gordon, then they have coaches being suspended, having alcohol issues. It just goes on and on, nobody cares. In New York you have to watch every step you make because if you slip once, just a little, it'll be all over the news for weeks. You can't fight it so you might as well just accept it as a fan. The NY media is similar to a leech. Don't be mad at it for sucking the blood out of you, it's nothing personal, they just want to survive. At least that's what helps me ignore the stuff they write and get irritated by what they come up with and how they try to get people fired, benched and so on. They want chaos, they need chaos to survive, to make money. That's why Bowles hopefully is the right guy, he has the right mentality. Rex wasn't the right guy, he couldn't handle it. The moment they saw his weakness they went after him and he started having meltdowns (remember when he turned his back on beat writers and started yelling at them?). Bowles...you can ask him the same question 100 times and he'll give you the same answer over and over again. He stays calm, you can't get under his skin.
