Sorry, I have to laugh, man. I understand your contempt and hatred for the Phish. I used to feel that way, but not so much any more. It's funny I hated the Raiders long before I hated the Dolphins, yet I still hate the Raiders, even though Al Davis and all the thugs that used to play there are long gone. The only teams I hate right now are the Pats and Bills. We already know what Cro thinks of Bowles. He was practically begging the Jets to sign him so he could play for Bowles again.
It means more coming from somebody who isn't currently employed by the Jets or being coached by Bowles. Go ask the Patriots players what they think of BB. They'll all praise him in public. Ask them in private and they'll tell you a different story.
I thought they were before. If you were a Dolphin, wouldn't you hate the Jets after the Monday Night Miracle? It's just like if we didn't already hate the Dolphins, we learned to after the fake spike.
How about the Mud Bowl or the fact that Shula was the head of the NFL officiating committee and the Dolfags were the least penalized team In the NFL for 27 straight years
" you are what your record says you are " we will get to find out soon about bowles. i am optimistic at this point.
like Geno and Sheldon? i get what you are saying, but it isn't always so easy. every team has 2 sets of consequences depending on where you were drafted.
i'm optimistic on Bowles as well, but hasn't coached a game with us yet. I'll be looking for the following key things: - our defense. we have the talent, and his expertise is a big reason he got the job. we need a top 5 D. - how the players respond to him. will they buy into him and play for these coaches? how much fight will they have? will they show up in December and hopefully Jan? - game planning and adjustments - preparation. how prepared and organized are the sidelines, the substitutions, the communications amongst players and coaches. looking to see a well oiled machine. if he has success with the above keys, the results will follow. i could care less about pressers, personality, or media stuff. i'm even ok with some rookie coach mistakes as he grows into this role.
i don't like the double standard either. with all teams there is def a correlation between talent level and bullshit tolerated. just the nature of today's game.
kind of like Kraft determining Goddell's salary? http://www.sportingnews.com/nfl/sto...oodell-make-net-worth-paid-35-million-in-2013
