I often hear: "But you can't vote in the primary!"

Nope, just fine remaining an independent.

    Escalante National monument.

The Utah Coal Lockup: A trillion dollar Lippo payoff?
    By: Sarah Foster

When the President signed the Executive Order designating 1.7 million acres of land in southwest Utah as the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, his action placed the area off limits to mineral extraction and development.

The New York Times reported that the monument encloses the largest coal field in the nation, the Kaiparowitz Plateau, which contains at least 7 billion tons of coal worth over $1 TRILLION.

holy hell she is dumb. what a fucking idiot bitch. besides sounding like a complete fool with her points anyway- - she apparently has ZERO knowledge of how our government works and has the wrong department all together- dumb ass broad.

The Department of the Interior manages the regulation of our nations natural resources, aka "The energy that is my baby. the oil and gas and minerals that God gave us." The Department of Interior would be the regulatory body that would make the disastrous decision she is talking about.

The Department of Energy is about science and technology, cultivating advances in improving next level technologies and legacy technologies that would actually protect and use our own natural resources. The Department of Energy would have absolutely nothing to do with the States management of resources, or even the Federal management of resources.

She is actually making the completely opposite point of what she is intending- thats how dumb she is. The scientists at the DOE that are a million times smarter than her are working everyday on cultivating technology that CAN allow us to use our own resources instead of "relying on unfriendly foreign nations" to get our energy. Getting rid of the DOE, as she is basically implying, would in effect cause us to HAVE to get our energy from foreign resources.

seriously how can someone who became a governor somehow and a VP candidate be this fucking stupid?

In 2008, she wanted to get rid of the Department of Energy.

Her dumb followers will buy anything she is selling.

I 100% totally agree with her. But not only do we have to dump the DOE, but we have to get rid of the EPA, Department of Education, Department of Commerce, Depertment of Health and Human Services, the IRS, and the Department of Homeland Security

We need to give back rights that are supposed to be for the states back to the states. enough of all this federal overreach.

I want you to know...I took a 6 hour time out before posting this.

Then I decided you lefties are so cocksure in your declaration of conservatives being dumb, that this needed to be pointed out.

You know she was a governor, of an Energy producing state.

Yet, you didn't think twice to call her a moron thrice, without even examining your (meager) grasp of the facts?

Do you think she doesn't know which Federal entity she dealt with on a regular basis, regarding the prohibitions on drilling in the state she was running? (that would be the first common sense question)

I know she wears glasses but @doe.gov doesn't really look like @doi.gov... now does it?

It helps when you go off on a rant, if you at least have a grasp of the subject matter...
The real question is, how can we let people vote, when they have zero clue in basic civics and common sense.

    Just sayin.

Id also like to add that we need to get rid of the Federal Reserve and that people under age 35 shouldn't have to pay into Social Security and Medicare since we sure as hell arent gonna be seeing any of that money when we retire.

She's involved in a grudge match with ESPN supposedly about them suspending Curt Schilling which she basically called them chicken shits over. But what it's really about is them publicizing her alleged one night stand with Glen Rice when she was a sports reporter at an Alaska TV station in the '80's. Reports were that she used her sister's dorm room at the U of Alaska to shack up with Rice. It was all in a book about her written a few years ago by Joe McGinness, a credible journalist.
