I don't think Erin Henderson was in that particular competition - otherwise he would've been cut by now. Don't' forget we got Jamari Lattimore as well. He was a core special teams player with the Packers. It's possible, they made the decision between Lattimore, Mays, and Jones. Decided to keep two of them. I wasn't too crazy about Mays, as we already got a good special teams player in Lattimore. We have depth at that ILB position in case, Davis continues to struggle. The only cut that really bothered me was Owusu. Joseph Fauria was cut yesterday, I hope we pick him up off the waiver wire.
Stop making excuses. I can understand losing out to Russell Wilson, but Terrelle Pryor? That tells me what I need to know about him and besides that, Flynn is not better than Geno Smith.
Not concerned about our Defensive woes, our top players will show up on game day. We should have a top three defense, and with Smith (hopefully for good) on the sideline and Fitz starting to look like the Fitz of 2014, we should be able to score 20 points a game. If we can regularly score 20 points a game and defense limit the other teams to 17 or less, my optimistic gut says we will win 11 games and make the playoffs. Fingers crossed. History shows on years the Mets have a playoff run, so do the Jets.

So now we see - I have to assume that this was their plan all along and risked Owusu on the waiver wire rather than others - saw a lot of half decent WRs cut yesterday. A gamble that has paid off, lets hope he stays concussion free!! And if they add Powell to PS then we are all happy again - sheesh we got upset about nothing after all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
