Fordham and the Seven Blocks of Granite upset West Point by 8 Rams Chase Edmonds more shifty and slippery than an eel. Never seen anything like it. Juked the Black Nights defenders right in their face. Lombardi would be proud.
Nittany Lions at Temple, no love lost there. Time for Christian Hackenberg to take a big step forward with an improved Penn State team.
HAckenberg is suppose to be the top qb coming out after the season? I no the line has been horrible but he doesn't look good either. 13 tads to 15 ints last season
Ok my meltodwn is over. I am all calmed down now and sipping on some beer, so here are my takes on what I saw today by the Huskers: First the Positive: 1) The halftime adjustments were done very well. This was something that we never saw when Bo Pelini Was the HC. If he was still the HC this would have been a huge loss with BYU winning in a blowout. 2) While I hate Tommy Armstrong a lot, he actually looked better than his usually crappy self out there today, he looked like he was getting some coaching that was better than what he got with Tim Beck and Bo Pelini where they pretty much told him that he was a RB instead of a QB, which is a retardad idea too. 3) The defense was able to make some adjustments after a putrid 2nd quarter. I wasn't expecting them to be dominant this season since they are very young. 4) the receivers looked respectable considering all the injures that they have gone through. 5) NUHC Mike Riely seemd to keep the team cool and collected when if they had Peleni in as HC he would have thrown multiple shit-fits on the sideline which also would have caused the team to become shaky. Now the Negative: 1) The offensive line. Just in general they were fucking awful. 2) Special teams. We need a kicker who can actually kick. He cost us 6 points and those 6 points were critical in this game. 3) Playcalling. Some of the play calling was very questionable. Especially on that Hail Mary pass in the end zone on NU which allowed BYU to win the game off a bullshit call from the fuckbag refs. Overall Im only expecting 6-7 wins this season since its a transition year from one coaching style that never worked to a new and much better coaching style and the transition year will obviously be a bumpy one and a lot of impatient fans will not be happy about it. But it is what it is. Im not expecting to see any results until next year anyway. Ok since I'm all good now, I will be pretty pissed off if they dont demolish South Alabama next week with a score of like 55-14.
This is how I state the rest of their schedule going forward and how confident I am in my prediction: South Alabama- Win, pretty confident at Miami- Loss, very confident Southern Mississippi- Win, confident at Illinois- Win so-so confident Wisconsin- Blowout Loss, very confident at Minnesota- Loss, confident Northwestern- Loss, confident at Purdue- Win, so-so confident Michigan State, Blowout loss, very confident at Rutgers- Win confident, almost so-so confident Iowa- Win, little confidence. Overall I see them getting between 5 and 7 wins.
Jeez. Man. First impressions of Pac-12 are baaaad. Esp the North. Oregon is the only decent team out of the bunch and our defense is crap. I can easily see the UCLA or USC winning the conference. That Rosen kid is going to be an NFL star.
Sorry. Didn't see the game. I've heard about the Hail Mary. I can imagine your pissed... I'd give the guy more than one game, though.
Meanwhile in Manhattan, KS, the K-State Marching Band had a formation that looked like a Jayhawk giving a blowjob.
