The CS didn't really like Flynn from the get go. When your HC says they signed you because you were the only guy available, you don't have that much of a chance to stick. After rewatching that last game, he really weren't as good as his numbers. The guys arm was on par with Penny, with much less touch. Depending on Geno's progress, they might just stick with Fitz/Petty. However, if he's going to take a few more weeks I'd say Johnson will be back.
Dude, I'm 51. Been a Jets fan my whole life. We draft Hackenberg...I'm done. I've already quit the Mets...I barely check the scores now onlty because my oldest son is into them. And for some reason the sports media love him and Cook.
Doesn't matter, it's still a competition this late in the game that's not good. If Jones is as good as advertised, he should run away with the competition. Unless the other guy is also actually an NFL QB prospect, a legit one at that. If Cook don't step up, I don't want a QB period in Rd 1. Jets should look to solidify the line.
So Urban is channelling his inner Rex Ryan? If the guy is as good as advertised what's the point of delaying the inevitable?
Ummmm...Because Barrett in his first game lost to VT. So why not keep the bastards guessing? Because is it fair to Barrett to lose his job because of an injury? It's a toss up as to whether or not you do Jones a favor by limiting his body of work.
I take it you're inebriated... If I am that old, I would have seen plenty of competitions. Now, If you said FIRST..that would have made sense.. But in any case. I am here. T Rex isn't. I'm badder than the guy Easin' down the highway in a new Cadillac, with a fine fox in front, and three more in the back.
I don't think they should've waited this long to make the decision. Tech I am sure prepared for both QBs regardless. I don't see a huge statistical advantage in this. Jones needs the reps, he's still green still needs to improve as well. Tech will be tough regardless of who is under center.
