Today's ruling was about how flawed the NFL justice & arbitration process is, mainly because the man in charge doesn't have an ounce of executive judgment in his body. Not to mention a total lack of scruples as this whole fiasco of a prosecution proved. But the reason that the NFL resorted to hiding evidence, refusing access to witnesses, etc. (which is what Berman based his ruling on), is because they didn't have a factual case that could stand the light of day. And the reason it couldn't stand the light of day is because no illegal deflation ever occurred. The league was mistaken about what happened, and didn't have the decency to man up, admit their mistake, and close the case. That's the reality here.
McNally (9:05:45am): Tom sucks...im going make that next ball a fuckin balloon Jastremski (9:07:08am): Talked to him last night. He actually brought you up and said you must have a lot of stress trying to get them done...
Great to see the 10 or 12 loyal pat fans visiting today. Wouldn't be surprised if they were the same few fans that went to games before the pats became good. Remember the good old days when even the dolphins had more fans at their home games than the pats. Those days are coming soon. Jacksonville draws more than the pats did when the pats were mediocore. I can deal with the steeler fans and their nonsense but front running fans like pat fans? I just cant take them seriously.
wait one second genius the team was punished moron and no text or phones were destroyed. So it is ok to lie and cheat according to pats fans fing idiots get a clue the NFl is going to appeal and when the whole story comes out and it will someone from the pats is going to look very stupid besides you
kind of like brady destroying cell phones or insulting people by calling someone a deflator because he lost weight. that crap may fly in NE but not in the other 48 states
Fuck that. All of it. Who said, It;s in the NFLs interest to go this way and have Brady available opening night. Gee... One smart motherfucker... He takes two games returns after NE bye week
You know things have certainly changed, but there are a few of us pats fans that were around long before the Patriots were considered a serious NFL football team. The stadium looked and felt like a high school stadium on steroids. In my youth I never in a million years thought they'd be good, never thought they'd win 1 championship ever. Parcells going to NE was the most insane move ever, that stuff didn't happen to us. It's been a fun ride, it can't last. I'm glad I was around for it and my dad was around for it. Football is a great sport. The old fans can't stand the bandwagoners either but 20 year olds today don't know a shitty patriots team so it's weird.
This country is out of control. A Federal judge basically said an owner, and a GM of a company cannot sanction an employee of a franchise for violating workplace rules. P.S. I predicted this would happen. Bottom line the NFL wants the Deflator up against the Penetrator on opening nigjht
They Def wanted him back out there. They put Ap on the commissioners exempt list why not Brady? They're still not a great team this season anyway with or without Brady. They have no secondary and they play the nfc east. Outside of Washington..... And that's not a given, they wont sweep them. So let them have Brady back. I'd rather they lose with him then use that as an excuse. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
