I'm not sure it's working out the way you seem to think it is. Go have a drink dude. Get out in the sun or something.
Where was he found completely innocent? I didn't read that, he's saying Brady should be fined, which means he is still guilty. Whatever you dream up kid. suck off
He wasn't proven to be completely "innocent ". The judge ruled against the PROCESS and no the Pats will not be getting that pick back. They were repeat offenders, previously warned for tampering with footballs (04), and were caught cheating AGAIN. Why do you think the Patriots suspended those two ball boys, without pay. The Pats won't be going anywhere this season, so enjoy this!
McNally should be the new subway lose weight eating subs guy since Fogle likes to bang kids. They can have the "deflator" sub.
I think one point is did the NFL warn Brady or the union that deflating footballs could lead to disciplinary action. You would think this was somewhere enunciated or in some document presented to players. Or verbally told to players at meetings. Maybe not specifically the 4 games: which they were willing to reduce. But once again on the legal front the NFL drops the ball and gets beat. Can they prove that Brady was warned and the penalty was fair.
They weren't found innocent. The judge said the punishment was just too steep. Also, if Kraft appeals and i'm the league i put the ball boys under oath and have them risk perjury. Kraft won't risk this becoming a bigger problem if they open up.
It wasn't even that the punishment was too harsh. It was that the NFL didn't notify Brady that he could be suspended for four games, and that he was denied evidence in discovery during his appeal hearing. For anyone who is really interested to read the boring legalese: http://a.espncdn.com/pdf/2015/0903/BermanBradyRuling.pdf
I think he ruled on what makes overturn on appeal the most unlikely. That makes the hill for the NFL steeper. I think it's 50-50 they even bother to appeal, the optics for them are horrible no matter what they do here.
Please educate me as to what the below means "Judge Richard M. Berman delivered a near-total victory for Brady and the NFL Players Association, finding that the NFL can’t suspend Brady for knowledge of a deflation scheme because Brady was not placed on proper notice of the possibility of a suspension for such conduct. Judge Berman also adopted the observation from former Commissioner Paul Tagliabue in the Saints bounty scandal regarding the fact that the NFL has never before suspended a player for obstructing an NFL investigation. So basically Brady can be fined at most for the two infractions, but he cannot be suspended." -Mike Florio Lawyer.
