What is up with Rex and bad quarterbacks?

He's actually a lot smarter than he's given credit for but he has a blind spot you could drive a tractor trailer through when it comes to QB's.

Rex is jerking off to a wildcat film session compilation right now.

Rex is a reality show not a HC.

You'd think he would have picked a job where the team told him it was going to give him a QB.

In NY he had Mark Sanchez, Kellen Clemens, Mark Brunell at 86 years old, Greg McElroy, Tim Tebow, Geno Smith, Matt Simms and Michael Vick as his options over the years.

So he gets fired because he never finds/develops a QB and where does he run too? The land of E.J. Manuel, Matt Cassell and Tyrod Taylor and to that he adds... Matt Simms.

Rex isn't dumb, he's insane. He's doing the same things over and over and expecting different results.

Rex just being Rex. Does it really matter who hands off the ball 80% of the time? Bills deserve this shit show.

I didn't see Tyrod in any games but heard he was playing well in camp. I always liked him in college but he had no shot with the Ravens. I don't like Rex but I think this is a very gutsy move. Taylor could have an upside and with this opportunity finally he can show what he can do. The safe thing would have been to go with Cassel. But he'll be on a short leash for sure.

I think the safest move would have been to go with Manuel and a tight conservative offensive game plan and then go to Cassel or Taylor if you had too after a few games. Really the safest move would have been to move heaven and earth to get the Falcons job.

Same Manuel that threw a pick 6 to JJ Watt to win the game? Safest was Matt Cassel

Honestly this might be the right move by Rex. Remember this kid has sat behind Flaco for a number of years watching and learning. This is the proper way you develop a good Pro QB. So maybe Rex made the smart move this time. We will know soon enough.

I watched 2 of the games with Taylor.

    He looked pretty good.

He's got a savvy trick going but it'll get figured out.

Probably. I don't think he's very good, he's just looked ok in meaningless preseason games.

Taylor learned how to not be elite :). Seriously though, you've got a point - Ryan could be right about Taylor, but we'll see.

I can't wait to see it. Should be rather entertaining, in a freak show sort of way.

look at his draft scouting report weaknesses. Obviously this is from a couple years ago so Baltimore could've fixed him but I'll be dammed if this doesn't sound exactly like a Rex Ryan hand-picked QB :D

"Does not possess adequate height and too many of his passes are knocked down at the line. Sloppy footwork prevents him from stepping into throws making him an erratic passer. Locks onto receivers and often telegraphs his throws. Struggles breaking down coverage and makes too many ill-advised throws."
