He's been injury prone and I personally like the stable of backs we already have come, but he did play with Chan Gailey so it wouldn't surprise me if we took a flier. If it's low cost it's not a bad idea, at least until Ridley is off the PUP.

Jackson, Powell, and ivory would be a nice trifecta.

IMO he ends up in the AFC east and I would put my money on the Jets. All 3 teams could use veteran RB help, but Fred's kids and family are so entrenched in the schools and buffalo community that he wouldn't want to go far. In NY he could play for Gailey and be a quick flight away from Buffalo. Seems logical.

we got a wealth of RBs here though. there's not really a need for his services. I could see him ending up in NE because they value what he brings. Cleveland is an option because they have a need at the position. Its also likely he might be done in the NFL.

Shame Fred Jackson all throughout his tenure with the Bills was always underutilized.

If we didn't have all these RBs, I would take Jackson in a NY Min.

34, oldest rb in the nfl, doubt he finds a new home.

He's not a very good runner any more, but he still has value IMO. He's still the best RB pass blocker in the NFL and is good at receiving out of the backfield. He's a good 3rd down back option, especially on a team with a shaky oline. He also brings leadership if a team needs it.

I would think Ivory and Powell do their split, but Fred could certainly play on obvious 3rd down passing situations. He could do this in NE or Miami as well. If a team needs an actual RB though, he's not the guy for that.

Our backs this year will be Ivory, Powell Stacy ( for half the year unless he really impressed) than Ridley when he is healthy. There is zero need for Jackson even though he is a high character guy.

He could end up in Dallas, best OL in football and they never really replaced Murray.

He is 34 years old and he wasn't looking that great last year. Decent receiving numbers but not worth the roster spot unless they are going to cut Stacy. I think Stacy has more worth to the team then Jackson would though.

I don't know what his money would be. But he's a PT player and guy with his ability and experience is an asset. Some playoff contender will sign him, maybe NEP.
