its still dangerous for him to be doing this in the preseason. If they had questions about Powell, they should've given him every opportunity to return punts and kickoffs. Powell looked good though - he should make the team.
Nice write up as always. I'm a strong believer that there is a pressing need for some drastic changes in the TE position. Cumberland should not have a slot and cause one of our young WR to get axed. Quite frankly he is a non factor. I said this a long time ago, either Coples changes position in this new system or he should be a prime candidate to be traded. He is not nimble or fast enough to be our outside backer. Damned you IK for doing what many Jet players where thinking. My hat off to Gailey. He is making our offense relevant and fun to watch. God it seems like forever since we had an offense that does not telegraph plays depending on down, always finding the outlet pass that is 2 yards short of the 1st down marker .
I mentioned him but I guess it went under a bit. I didn't expect him to look as good as he has recently and I hope he keeps it up. That pick 6 was a thing of beauty.
They're similar. Enunwa might have to add a few more pounds to take the punishment if this is permanent but he's way, way faster than Clay (4.4 vs 4.7 speed).
Thanks for your comments. I wasn't able to see the game. One of the web sites someone listed had the game as being tonight, which I knew wasn't correct. When I tried to access the other, my anti-virus software yet again had to block an intrusion attempt. You guys better check your computers, because some of you are bound to either have viruses or trojan horses, or you've had some of your private info stolen.
Bilal Powell is one of those backs who is nothing special but he doesn't hurt you in any phase of the game. That's fairly valuable over time, since RB's go down with injuries all the time and if Powell had to step in and carry the load he wouldn't hurt you in the process. We'll blink and his career will be over because that's the reality of 99% of RB's careers but we won't really appreciate what he was for us until he's gone and the next depth back has holes that are hurting us.
The RB spot will be by committee Ivory Powell Stacy. Fresh runners wear down opposing defenses. The future is bright for our offense. Very refreshing.
In a perfect world I'd like Ivory to get 20 carries a game, and 10 carries for Powell along with like 5 receptions. Stacy can come in late to run the clock down but I don't really want to see him when it matters.

How funny would it be if we went to the Playoffs and the Pats finished dead last in the division. They look like garbage right now. I know it probably won't happen but still.
