    Eleven is a key number in the game of football. Twelve is the number of players on the Jets' roster who will not play in tonight's MetLife Bowl game against the Giants due to injuries.

    Seven of those players are on offense:
    ■ TE Jace Amaro (shoulder)
    ■ T Ben Ijalana (knee)
    ■ WR Jeremy Kerley (concussion)
    ■ RB Daryl Richardson (concussion)
    ■ RB Stevan Ridley (knee, Active/PUP)
    ■ WR Devin Smith (ribs)
    ■ QB Geno Smith (jaw)

    Five more Green & White scratches are on the defense:
    ■ LB Erin Henderson (knee)
    ■ LB Lorenzo Mauldin (knee)
    ■ CB Dee Milliner (wrist)
    ■ CB Dashaun Phillips (ribs)
    ■ DL Kevin Vickerson (hamstring)

    The only lineup change the Jets announced before the game was an anticipated shift of second-year man Trevor Reilly into the starting lineup at OLB for Calvin Pace.

    The Giants also have a 12-player list of injury scratches that includes CB Chykie Brown (knee), S Bennett Jackson (knee), S Nat Berhe (calf), CB Chandler Fenner (hamstring), LB Jon Beason (knee), LB Jonathan Casillas (neck), T Will Beatty (pectoral, Active/PUP), C Weston Richburg (knee), G Brandon Mosley (back), WR Victor Cruz (calf), DE George Selvie (knee) and LB Mark Herzlich (concussion).

    Really sucks that Mauldin isn't playing.

    The rest of them were kind of expected though.
