Apparently, multiple offensive linemen for the Redskins dislike rg3. So I prose these questions: a.) Would you believe they purposefully allowed a free hit or two on their qb? B.) If the price was right, rg3 to the jets? Talking a first for next year, Dee Milliner, 2 2's. Sent from my LGMS395 using Tapatalk
I'm figuring in that Washington would need decent compensation. In my opinion rg3 isnt with the Redskins in 2 years... Too much bad blood flowing. Still very talented with a good o-line and weapons. Sent from my LGMS395 using Tapatalk
RG3 is done. Not a leader. Too focused on himself. Too damaged to be as effective as he was his rookie year.
Torn acl twice, mcl once, concusions put him out of how many games? I know the dislocated ankle was one. If he doesn't resign with the Redskins in 2 years, I'd look at him then. Otherwise I stand by nothing more than a second.
This whole RG3 thing makes me think of something; I think NFL teams are doing a horrible job of developing young QB's. How the hell do you draft a guy 2nd overall, and NOT do everything you can to help him develop? Granted he's been hurt, but it's no secret Jay Gruden doesn't seem to be a fan of Griffin. Why would you hire a guy who can't tailor an offense to fit what this QB does best? Joe Gibbs is a HOF coach in large part because he molded his offense to fit the strengths of whoever he had at QB. It's no coincidence how won 3 SB's with three different types of QB's. Same with how Shula went from ground and pound to air Shula when he landed Marino. You see quite a few teams give up on QB's too early. TB did it with Freeman, Buffalo seems to be doing it with Manuel, Cleveland with manziel, hell TB sis it again with Glennon. If you're not gonna commit 3 years toward developing a guy, why draft him in the first place?
Idk what this is about but his O line probably hates him because they get blamed for his suckiness. If a guy takes only two steps back and stands like a statue it's not the lines fault that he gets sacked.
RG3 is done by the way. He's lost his mobility which is what made him great and his whole game had deteriorated.
Instant gratification. Also, I agree with you on Glennon. Has looked good for the most part, but won't get a chance now that they drafted Winston. I'd look to trade for Glennon or Mettenberger if possible.
I live in Washington DC area and I've had many Skins fans say the O line doesn't want to block for him. His ego is so big. Now why would we want that?
