    Only the Good Die Young
    Song by Billy Joel
    • Come out Virginia, don't let 'em wait
You Catholic girls start much too late
Aw but sooner or later it comes down to faith
Oh I might as well be the one
Well, they showed you a statue, told you to pray
They built you a temple and locked you away
Aw, but they never told you the price that you pay
For things that you might have done
      Only the good die young
      That's what I said
      Only the good die young
      Only the good die young
You might have heard I run with a dangerous crowd
We ain't too pretty we ain't too proud
We might be laughing a bit too loud
Aw but that never hurt no one
So come on Virginia show me a sign
Send up a signal and I'll throw you the line
The stained-glass curtain you're hiding behind
      Never let's in the sun
Darlin' only the good die young
      Woah

Billy Joel is awful. He represents all that's wrong with the "NY state of mind", lol. And he looks like a miserable, manic-depressive lost soul, not surprisingly.
And oh btw, the title "only the good die young" actually has some truth to it. Those who are good are ready for heaven, and so they tend to pass on before the poor slobs like Billy Joel who are flailing around hopelessly trying to find fulfillment in this world. Those lost souls who desperately need to connect with their Spiritual selves. We should pray for Billy Joel and other lost souls like him (Donald Trump is another who comes to mind; he's clearly depressed too, you can tell that just by looking at him; the eyes are the window to the soul, as they say. He has no joy in him. It's sad...all that money and fame, and he's miserable. A perfect example of how worldly things will never satisfy us ultimately. Religion is all that matters, in this life and the next). All the screwed up celebrities in and out of rehab also attest to this. I seriously hope I never accumulate that much money, it would be a sure sign that I'm not living my life the right way. I want to continue to live a humble lifestyle; I'd much rather be poor than rich. Seriously!

...And who the hell is "Frank Zappa", I think I've heard the name but nobody listens to his music. Most people probably don't even know who he is....or the "Jim Carroll band"?! lol, you guys are digging pretty deep now!

frank zappa was the fuckin man. the fact that you don't know who he is tells you all you need to know about how out of touch with real life you are.

enjoy being poor by the way. its better for all of us. money gives people influence in society and society is better off without your influence

Money gives people money, seduces them into hoarding it, and actually further isolates them from society. They become consumed with their own private lives, and with making more money. They do not become influential members of society! How influential is Warren Buffett, or Bill Gates, or Donald Trump? They are mostly punch lines, especially Trump lol! Money just makes him a bigger idiot, and more withdrawn into his own little narcissistic world where he's the "god" of his own private universe, completely out of touch with the real world. Mother Teresa, Pope John Paul II, and Bishop Fulton Sheen were all way more influential than Buffet, Gates, Trump, or any of the other rich losers out there. Most people have little respect for the ultra-wealthy.

....and in my 40 years on this planet I have not met a single Frank Zappa fan, he's a nobody. If you like him that's fine.

HUH, Where did that come from?!?! Billy Joel is Italian, isn't he? (it has nothing to do with his ethnicity, I can't stand him because he spews idiotic ideas in his otherwise catchy songs).

Anti-abortion protesters rally at Planned Parenthood sites

Thousands of anti-abortion protesters on Saturday demonstrated at Planned Parenthood sites around the United States where they called for the federal government to end funding for the health organization.

The protests staged at dozens of Planned Parenthood sites came after an anti-abortion group released an eighth video on Friday purporting to show Planned Parenthood officials negotiating prices for aborted fetal tissue.

"Today's nationwide demonstrations ... underscore the grassroots opposition to Planned Parenthood. It is time that Planned Parenthood closed its doors forever," said Jim Sedlak, a vice president at American Life League, an anti-abortion organization, in a statement.

"Scenes from an Italian restaurant", and lyrics from some of his songs suggest that he's Italian. Plus he looks Italian. What makes you think he's Jewish? (again, it doesn't matter at all, but I'm just curious now) .............nevermind, just looked it up, turns out you're right...who knew?! o_O

    I. The Life of Man—To Know and Love God
1 God, infinitely perfect and blessed in himself, in a plan of sheer goodness freely created man to make him share in his own blessed life. For this reason, at every time and in every place, God draws close to man. He calls man to seek him, to know him, to love him with all his strength. He calls together all men, scattered and divided by sin, into the unity of his family, the Church. To accomplish this, when the fullness of time had come, God sent his Son as Redeemer and Savior. In his Son and through him, he invites men to become, in the Holy Spirit, his adopted children and thus heirs of his blessed life.

2 So that this call should resound throughout the world, Christ sent forth the apostles he had chosen, commissioning them to proclaim the gospel: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age.”4 Strengthened by this mission, the apostles “went forth and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them and confirmed the message by the signs that attended it.”5

3 Those who with God’s help have welcomed Christ’s call and freely responded to it are urged on by love of Christ to proclaim the Good News everywhere in the world. This treasure, received from the apostles, has been faithfully guarded by their successors. All Christ’s faithful are called to hand it on from generation to generation, by professing the faith, by living it in fraternal sharing, and by celebrating it in liturgy and prayer.6

Go fuck yourself. Frank Zappa was a genius (literally), an artistic savant and one if the absolute great guitar players of all time.

You wouldn't know good music because you have your head rammed in the hymnal.

Buffet and Gates have contributed boatloads of money toward charity. Calling them losers is pretty disrespectful unless you'd like to post your great contributions next to theirs so we can see what you are really about.

On Long Island maybe...lol...where they abuse animals, drive like lunatics, fornicate themselves with stashes of porn (I actually saw this in a neighbor's home, loser had it all visible! lmao!), steal from cars in Church parking lots (yes, this actually happened while I was living there, as unbelievable as it sounds!), etc, .... just turn on the 6:00 news, most of the horrific stories of abuse and debauchery come from the island. SO glad I escaped that hell hole! Jersey and southern westchester are pretty much the same....as in that hilarious family guy episode, "new yorkers can all go fornicate themselves!"...lol....priceless!

"When Fall hits Quahog, the town becomes infested with New Yorkers who come to watch the leaves change..." .....and listen to Frank Zappa, lol!

Yeah, a tiny percentage of their total net worth, even after that they are still hoarding billions of dollars. Shameful.

Wow your are a sad, pathetic, weak tool.

You don't know a thing about Zappa yet you display your ignorance for all to a see.

That dude had more brains in one nut than you have in your entire body.

No wonder you need the Church to tell you what and how to think.

Keep posting those talking points from your Church elders.

It's giving us all a daily laugh. Not with you, at you.
