Any estimate on when the verdict is reached? I wouldn't say no to them stretching it out till say Sep 21st.
This is pretty damn funny at this point lolllllllollllllklllklklllololll Sent from my LG-LS720 using Tapatalk
I don't see a verdict coming out of this. The judge is pretty adamant about a settlement and I don't think either side is willing to roll the dice.
I think just the opposite. The judge DOES want a settlement, but neither side will give in at this point and he'll have to make a call.
yeah i don't see a settlement happening either. judge may as well get on with it already. he's not deciding the entire incident, only how many games Br*dy misses. the decision won't really affect how anyone feels about the matter, nor will it have too much affect on the Pats season.
That's pretty much it, regardless of what the judge decides most people either believe Brady instructed the now terminated ball bays to do this and had full knowledge of the situation or you are a Pats fan.
i've mentioned it before...this appeal is not about whether Br*dy did it or not. it's about procedure, and the CBA itself. so if Berman upholds the 4 game suspension, it doesn't confirm his guilt. i'd still be happy as it means he won't get away with it, but his guilt was already determined (P*ts fans just refuse to accept it). conversely, if Berman reduces or even eliminates all games, it doesn't pronounce innocence. he's not trying the case, only whether the procedures followed were consistent within the CBA guidelines, and whether the punishment was fair within league precedent. it's funny how P*ts fans are hanging onto this case as if everything hinges on it. it's not that type of case, but i guess it's all they have left in this fight. eventually they accepted Hernandez guilt in Boston........maybe Br*dy will just take more time for them to digest.
Unfortunately I think Berman is trying the case and of course he has no right to do so which is why any negative verdict to the NFL will be appealed immediately.
I think the guilt part has already been dealt with. The rest is deciding if the NFL is WWE and Goodell is Vince McMahon, essentially making the NFL game over in 2016 and beyond, or if it's a real sports league. I think it's possible this is a planned step in the direction of WWE since they are having issues with CTE.
If Goodell is Vince McMahon, the players made him that and gladly took money in doing so. Don't like it? Don't take the money and change the CBA next time. The players will take the money every time then complain afterwards what they gave up. And the CTE issue is such bullshit. You run around making more money than you ever dreamed of smashing your head into other heads, guess what, you are going to get brain damaged. It's like anyone under the age of 40 complaining they got lung cancer from smoking. Yeah idiot, you knew for years this was going to happen. I can't wait till boxers sue somebody anybody over CTE. I mean, who knew THAT was bad for you? _

All this talk about Deflategate distracts from the reality that Brady's retirement is right around the corner. It will be interesting to see what happens to their cheater approving fans (meaning all of them) once that happens.
