Agreed.. Time for El Gordo to walk the plank. He's only good for the first half of the season. Father Time takes no prisoners and makes no exceptions.

He has been so clutch, that I can't get on him for having a bad game, all pitchers get rocked once in a while.

Plus, the Phillies just have our number, even without chase they smack us around.

It's like the cardinals back in the 80's, they were such a tough team for the mets to beat.

    2 TD's unanswered..impressive.

Gilmartin saved us tonight. Gave could've gotten out of hand quickly if not for him allowing the offense to get back in it.

    8 homers? Come on now!

The race I'm concentrating on now, is winning more games than the Dodgers. If we're going to face Grienke and Kershaw we better do it in our park. Actually I'm hoping the Giants can finish strong and pass them so we don't need to face them at all.

That's what I've started watching as well. but I'd rather face the Dodgers than the Giants. One team has shown they can win in the postseason, the other not.

I went to that game last night, from the comeback to Mets fans taking over Philly, that was surreal.

It's an odd year.... Giants won't win it this year. I jokingly say that. They have a great roster, the best manager in the game and awesome pitching that delivers when they need to. They are the last team I want to see especially in a short series.

I can't believe they let them play baseball at Coord Field lol.

Man that was a show. Can't believe the difference a month makes.

Cespedes is the 2015 version of Donn Clendenon.

Mets & Yankees complete 180. Yankees were tearing the skin off the ball then got completely pysched out by two knuckleballers and haven't been the same since. Mets were low offense then they got to the thin Colorado air and now they score 14 runs every night lol

That's a solid win. Make sure the Nats didn't gain a game was big.

Had the feeling that tonight wasn't our night but the Phils are just that bad.

In fairness to him he should've been out of that inning if not for Johnson's error.

And Howard just kills us no matter what.

Noah Still wasn't great tonight by a long shot though.

Might be a nice time to skip him even with the homestand coming up.

But on the other hand he was hitting 98 with ease and had 9 Ks.

I'm thinking him and Harvey will both get skipped , hopefully not in the same week but probably once Matz comes back they'll both lose a start.
