Ewe don't get it. Trump's appeal has nothing to do with him clashing with the other GOP candidates or GOP political philosophy so much as he (like him or not) is coming across to a lot of people as a guy intent on taking on the elites from both parties (read: Washington in general).

Chris Matthews (a liberal) articulated the Trump phenomenon quite succinctly on a recent Meet the Press (hosted by Chris Dodd, another liberal).

On Sunday, Chris Matthews said Donald Trump is resonating with the “little guy” because he is taking on the elites who have betrayed working Americans on issues like trade and immigration.

On Meet The Press, Matthews said there is a “sense of betrayal” because “the best and the brightest have given the country away on the border, on debt, on jobs.”

“They feel they’ve been betrayed by the elite and Donald Trump ironically is fighting the elite here and the little guy is rooting for him,” Matthews said. Host Chuck Todd also conceded that the “the more we in the media attack him the more powerful he gets.”

You should listen and learn from these in-the-know, educated liberals. Who knows, maybe you'd end up contributing something beyond parroting stale generalizations and blindly partisan assumptions ad nauseum.....

They've been around since ferguson. Sadly there's more then whats told from major media outlets(TV, newspaper, and everything alike); they only show you what they want you to see.

Obama: 'If you like your health care plan, you'll be able to keep your health care plan' it was repeated about 37 times by Obama or his top administration officials.
Did you lose your Dem. line by line playbook?

When it comes to politics many don't know when the right someone is right in front of them.
Bernie is so far off from much of what I feel but also right in line with a few things I think needs to be done.
If only we could gene splice some of Bernie, some of Paul, some of Carson, etc.

What about "read my lips." Or even better: "There are no weapons of mass destruction." Or did you selectively forget about those lies. Btw its total BS, anyways. Anybody who ever had health care knows that doctors and health care plans change on their own without any kind of push because of ObamaCare which is working just great and is covering many more people with much better coverage. But I'm sure you're still against it.

You couldn't explain the scenario of read my lips without wikipedia if your life depended on it.

(And who said There are NO weapons of mass destruction?) besides the NYTimes.
You must have missed the attack at Halabja.

    And Blix..

What do those quotes have to do with you being completely wrong in assigning a very well known quote to Republicans when it was something that was said by Obama, as well as his top dogs, numerous times? You are just a complete fucking moron who it is impossible to have any kind of discussion with because you don't have a mind of your own.

You are like a little child that just repeats everything your big brother says. If it has been said on MSNBC or CNN then it is a certainty it will dribble out of your keyboard.

As far as your claim that the Affordable Care Act is working, how about instead of just throwing blurbs you got from your favorite news outlet, try digging a little deeper and see how many people can actually afford to go see the doctor. Great, more people have insurance but if they can't go to the doctor it is completely fucking useless.

The stats back up the success of the ACA. So just look it up. It would be a hell of a lot better without the right wing obstructionism. They could then fix the problems and make it better for everyone. I guess you're just against people having a chance in this country. As for the insults, it's obvious you have no tolerance for a different POV. I'm not going to get in the ditches with you but it's obviously impossible to discuss anything intelligently with you so I won't. You still haven't commented about right wing liars only Obama. The "if you like your health care" comments are disingenuous Repub talking points and are a bunch of horseshit. Because the GOP can't come up with anything more intelligent to say. What's their health care plan? Nothing, that's what.

Where are your stats that back it up? You claim it is going great, how about some stats on if people are actually using their insurance? You made the claim, back it up. When it comes to discussions adults have, it is usually not up to others to prove or disprove your claim for you.

And stop with the dumb ass remarks that have nothing to do with the discussion, they just reinforce how moronic your posts are. Don't tell me I have no tolerance for different points of view if all you are doing is continually posting the days talking points handed down to you from your fav. MSNBC correspondents.

And you saying that it is impossible to discuss anything intelligent with me is what I have been telling you all along. You lack the ability to intelligently discuss anything. I will highlight this quote of yours as proof.

As I previously tried to explain to you, the Republicans never made the statement, "if you like your health care, you can keep your health care". That was all Obama, repeated dozens of times over a few years span. Why you keep trying to attribute it to Republicans is beyond reason.

This is my final reply to you. No way I can talk to you. You can have the final word. The GOP made a big PR deal out of a comment Obama made a few years ago and used it as one of their key talking points. Via their outlets like Fox News, etc. it was minor but they made it out like he was a liar. Because they had nothing smart or constructive to say. Name me one Pres either party who hasn't said something not 100% true. As for the ACA. I'm on an IPhone only this week so I can't post links. But just google stats or success of the ACA and you'll get many positive numbers and articles including a recent op-ed in the Times by Paul Krugman.

I spent a couple of weeks wondering what the fuck was with the Donald Trump hype. I mean, nobody could actually take this fuckstick seriously, right?

Then I realized that he is the only possible Republican candidate that could make election of Hillary Clinton look legitimate. I mean, seriously, who would believe a Hillary election against anyone else??

She'll be in office for four years, then she'll be dumped for George P. Bush after one term.

I'm calling this shit right now. Remember it.

Since you're such an expert. What's wrong with it? Can it be fixed or just like the GOP says totally dismantled. How does it compare to what they had before the ACA. And I'll take Paul Krugman's opinion over yours any day.

I will take the last word since you are so far off from your original statement. We weren't talking about the GOP making a big deal out of Obama's comment, "If you like your health insurance, you can keep your health insurance". We were talking about that statement because you erroneously claimed the GOP made that statement, you went on in further posts still claiming that the GOP made the statement even though you were corrected by others. We weren't talking about a pres. making an untrue statement, we were talking about you making an untrue statement multiple times and badgering others about it.
All you do is repost Dem. talking points so it will not be any great loss to me with you not replying. As far as you posting links or stats to back up your statements, I never expected you would since you never do. It is bullet points you get from MSNBC and that is all you ever post, nothing substantial at all.

I never said the GOP said "if you like your healthcare.." Obama said it. I said they used it as a disingenuous talking point against Obama and called him a liar. I don't see you calling out right wing posters for using Repub talking points. And using links from right wing sources. You do it yourself which is ok. And while on the left I don't attempt to do that in spite of what you say. I'm on vacation so I don't have a computer just an I-phone so I can't post links but I've posted many of them. Just read the Paul Krugman op-ed in the NYT for one about the ACA. There's loads of them . Now you can have the final word, promise. As for the name calling in the future you can call me a horse's ass and I won't reply.
