Life (or more like no life) at Amazon

    Low cost goods aren't free, someone is always paying the price.

    In this case people can choose to accrue the valuable experience that working at amazon can provide or work elsewhere. Absent of labor laws being broken I have no issues with exempt employees being pushed to their limits.

    Amazon is trying to maximize value for shareholders and no one else.

    Bezos did respond to the article and says that the Amazon represented in the NYtimes isn't his company...

    As long as Amazon gets my stuff here on time, I don't care what their jobs are like. Hell, does anybody truly enjoy their job?

    its all fun and games until it happens at your company. or your wives or kids. then it matters. and that's what people who abuse others (I didn't even read the article but im assuming that's what it is about) count on.

    It happens at my company too. Nepotism and favoritism run rampant in all businesses. It's the nature of the beast.
