If you believe that I have a bridge to sell you.

Oh, and deflategate will never be over just as spygate will never be over and all 4 championships will forever be considered tarnished.

this game is fun! offering up BS that we would like to see with no real basis. Here is how I think it will play out:

-No settlement is reached prior to opening day.

-Brady is successful in obtaining an injunction to play.

-He plays week 1 and 2 against the Steelers and Bills. losing both.

-On Monday 9/21, the Judge rules Brady's 4 game suspension will stand because he's a lying, cheating scumbag.

-Garrapolo plays the next 4 games (JAX, DAL, IND, Jets) he goes 1-3 with his only win against Jax, and throws 5 INTS in his loss to the Jets.

-Brady comes back to the 1-5 Pats... Belichick said "thanks but no thanks, we're rebuilding now"

-Garrapolo only wins 2 games the rest of the year (the miami games)

-Pats are forever known as cheating scumbags.

    End of delfate-gate (sorta)

has about as much credibility as your claim

That's one way to look at it.
Another way is this- Mara has no desire to get the shit that Goodell is swimming in up to his ginger pate on his nice suite. Mara is saying- Jesus Christ, Goodell, look at this mess- you made it, you clean it up. I'm not getting anywhere near this, even with a hazmat suit.

There is nothing about you that is "educated."

If you think the commish and the league hasn't breached the CBA in more ways than one on this than you are... well... pretty much as fucking stupid as you seem to be.

Actually follow what happened in court.

Don't worry though, I'm sure the rapist will be under center opening night.

you mean my QB who was falsely accused twice for being a bachelor? What a convenient reply. You like the Patriots are an irritated spoiled sissy.

Ive followed the court case pretty close. I see the judge blasting the nfl more than the nflpa. I hedge and say Berman will NOT overturn the ruling. Sorry it doesn't align with your sad we're innocent narrative. Brady is surely guilty when he destroyed his SIM card.

If no settlement is reached & the judge rules, it's all or nothing. He can either overturn everything or uphold everything. He can't reduce the suspension.

that stance is surely supportable too, but you have to face the fact that Rog's #1 job isn't fighting over spousal abuse or DWI's It's upholding the game rules of fairness 100%.

This judge would have vacated the case already if he could have. The facts are for the NFLPA, but the law is for the NFL and the judge knows this. That's why he's pushing so hard for a settlement, because barring one, he has no choice but to uphold.,

I'm not a lawyer, but I believe the Judge can rule anyway he wants to settle the case.

However, I do agree with you he will rule 100% to either party.

Now is time, the barrels are going to tip over on BB and his corruption. Ex QB McMahon says what many believe!!

Jim McMahon: I know Belichick is a liar, probably a cheater too
Posted by Michael David Smith on August 21, 2015, 12:34 PM EDT
    [IMG] Reuters

Add longtime NFL quarterback Jim McMahon to the list of people who say you can’t trust Bill Belichick.

McMahon, who spent part of training camp and the preseason with the Browns in 1995 when Belichick was Cleveland’s coach, says that Belichick lied to him about the Browns’ intentions with him. McMahon says he moved his family to Cleveland because Belichick promised him that he’d have a spot on the Browns’ roster, but as it turned out McMahon lasted only three weeks in Cleveland.

“I was with Bill in Cleveland in ’95. He lied to me right to my face so I never trusted him after that. So all this stuff that happened, I’m sure he was right in the middle of it,” McMahon said on the Dan Patrick Show.

In fairness to Belichick, it’s possible that when he told McMahon that he’d be on the Browns’ regular-season roster, he meant it. Belichick said publicly after cutting McMahon in August of 1995 that he might re-sign McMahon days later, depending on how things worked out with some injured players on the Browns’ roster. And by that point, McMahon was a 13-year veteran who should have known that if you want a guaranteed payday in the NFL, you’d better have a guarantee in your contract, and not just take your coach’s word for it.

Still, McMahon said Belichick can’t be trusted, and McMahon believes that Belichick was probably involved in Deflategate.

“I know he’s a liar, so cheating ain’t far behind, I don’t think,” he said.

Despite McMahon’s hard feelings, things turned out OK for him. Later in 1995 he signed with Green Bay, where he earned a Super Bowl ring as Brett Favre’s backup. Belichick, on the other hand, got fired at the end of the season.

Report: Colts sweep for bugs in locker room when at Gillette Stadium
Posted by Josh Alper on August 21, 2015, 1:02 PM EDT

Earlier this week, former Colts coach Tony Dungy said that Peyton Manning would refuse to discuss certain parts of the team’s strategy in the visiting locker room at Gillette Stadium because of fears that the Patriots were eavesdropping on conversations through listening devices.

Manning and Dungy are gone from Indianapolis, but the team reportedly still shares the same concerns about what might be joining them in the locker room. Bob Kravitz of WTHR reports that the Colts still sweep the visiting locker room for bugs whenever they play at Gillette Stadium.

As Kravitz notes, chances are that the Colts have never found anything as there’s never been any talk about finding a device or related investigation into something from a league that’s spent months and millions trying to punish the Patriots quarterback for allegedy being “generally aware” of a plot to under-inflate footballs.

In the video below, you can hear former Patriots safety Rodney Harrison’s response to Dungy’s story from earlier in the week. Harrison says the team had no inside information when it came to playing the Colts and points out that other teams have had success stopping Manning at home and on the road in the postseason.

If the Colts actually are spending time trying to see if their locker room is bugged, though, there would be some benefit to the Patriots because it is time spent thinking about something other than the game at hand. The results of the last meetings between the Pats and Colts suggest that’s not the best course of action for the 2014 AFC Finalists to be taking

Goodell works for Mara and is doing exactly what Mara and most of the other owners want him to do and if they wanted him to settle it would have been over weeks ago. They don't like kraft and they don't like brady and they don't like the disgrace they have brought on the league from the day he bought the team.

I can easily read that as 'it is Goodell's mess, and he will have to clean it up, it's what we pay him for'. You can't?
