Interesting theory. Still not sure an enterprise that produces this type of product is wise to promote the idea that the winners aren't clean.
Nydn on the Mara story. Still don't know who requested Maras participation. I bet it was Kessler http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/f...e=twitter.com&utm_campaign=NYDNSports+Twitter
I would love to see all of these billionaire fucks who for some mind blowing reason can't choose talent at the management level eviscerated.
Who knows what will happen. No matter what happens I think without a settlement Brady plays all 4 games. This isn't exactly supposed to be the best year for the Pats so who knows? I think you're way more concerned with this whole thing than I am.
I think he sits all four games without a settlement and that's why the judge is desperate to see them settle because he knows he can't overturn it without completely throwing out the CBA.
I think you care a lot, nice lying. You're vested to the hilt Already softening on your team.....like the rest, fair weather through and through Poof
It's def not getting thrown out. I think Maras words reinforce the Brady guilt. He supports Goodells right to uphold the NFL law in a player competitive advantage situation. The judge wants a settlement but he knows what is the correct decision
I'm not sure how you could be so confident, this judge strikes me as quite the pro union guy of course you may be right but there isn't anything he's done to make me think he's not going to overturn the ruling. It's not going to change anything. Brady and the Pats will still go down in history as the biggest group of cheaters in sports history and Pats fans will continue to spin and say the court ruled with them despite the overwhelming evidence (which of course morons will say isn't evidence) that there has been cheating going on in New England and they had to doctor footballs to win championships. If he leaves it as is Pats fans will still continue to spin and people who know the Pats cheated will still be able to say they cheated.
Call it a hunch, educated guess that if he goes against the cba. His courtroom dockets will be filled with dozens of NFLPa cases. Plus he's doing his due diligence to get them to settle I think NFL wins
If he does that the NFL will appeal in Washington, he knows it, Brady knows it and the NFL definitely knows it so all that does is leave it in limbo for weeks or months more. Let's see if this judge is so sure of himself or if he is willing to get spanked.
If this happens, all Brady needs to do is file an injunction to play in the games until a decesion is made. "But as Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio noted, if no decision or settlement is made by September 10 — the date of the Patriots' opener versus the Steelers — Brady's lawyers and the NFLPA will likely ask for an injunction that prevents Brady's four-game suspension from going into effect until after an official ruling is made on the case. In other words, the longer this drags on, the more likely it is that Brady will suit up and play against the Steelers despite the suspension and the entire Deflategate controversy." http://www.businessinsider.com/tom-brady-injunction-deflategate-case-2015-8 Read more: http://www.businessinsider.com/tom-brady-injunction-deflategate-case-2015-8#ixzz3jSt4mMzQ
Cool - let's move that suspension to December/January. I think it's only fair he be suspended for the playoffs seeing how that's where the issue originated.
They can ask but that doesn't mean they will get it, they can say he didn't act in good faith when he was urged to settle.
Brady already has a settlement offer on the table. He has said he would accept a one game suspension for not fully cooperating in the investigation. He has acted in good faith by accepting that. Haven't heard any type of settlement offer from the NFL yet.
He won't admit guilt which makes it meaningless. Anyway, this isn't over so we shall see how it plays out. One thing for sure is that judge thought he would play tough guy and force them to settle and it has obviously blown up in his face and now he has to make the decision and he can't wait much longer to do it.
The NFl offered 2 games but he has to accept blame for cheating. Apparently the huge hold up is the language. Tom will accept that he hindered the investigation but they never proved he cheated. The League wants an admission of guilt. They are essentially stuck on the one that matters most to both sides.
Brady: I am willing to accept a 1 game suspension for not fully cooperating with the investigation. Goodell: Interesting offer, now I have a counter. Goodell: Suck my dick. How generous of Brady to offer a settlement that reduces his suspension and accepts no guilt.
Here's how it will play out: No settlement is reached prior to opening day. Brady is successful in obtaining an injunction to play. He plays week 1 and 2 against the Steelers and Bills. On Monday 9/21, the Judge rules Brady's suspension is reduced to one game, effective immediately. Garoppolo easily beats the Jaguars in week 3 at Foxboro. Brady then returns week 4 against the Cowboys. End of Deflategate.
