Sarcasm. I'll explain though. If he had played any longer he might have thrown even more INTs and no more completions so while you can't have a negative QB rating, he just might have. Get it? _
...and IK. Just my opinion, but if you think the Bills defense will suffer because of Rex Ryan, you sir, are an idiot.
That Jets D talent sucked last season on back side. So to even talk about last season D is a joke. Let be real? Please tell me what coach could had done anything with CB's and safeties we had? Ill wait!!!
Yeah - Rex is a proven defensive mind - the Bills will have a Top 10 defense at the bare minimum and Top 5 most likely. I'd say the same for the Jets though, as long as Wilkerson is healthy.
We'll see how they play in big spots. Rex's defenses get killed on third downs at least in the last three years here along with the Championship games. He refuses to play coverage on third down regardless of the situation. I wonder if he'll adjust. The Bills are built to sit in zone and let their double digits sack masters up front go get the quarterback. They're going to struggle if he doesn't let off the gas and recognize that this year. Maybe he'll realize it.
One thing is certain, the Bills will rack up a tonne of sacks and opposition QBs will hate playing them.
Totally agree! And I'm no GM so to start naming coaches with out inside knowledge would be a futile effort. I also don't want to go down as a Ryan hater, I just noted a single attribute I wasn't fond of that I think stands in his way. I do think he is capable of pissing in our cornflakes for seasons to come, just a bit sore he couldn't succeed here, who ever is to blame for that.
This is so on point - can't run a man scheme with a secondary whose skills are best suited for the zone, and Ryan hasn't always acknowledged that (e.g., Milliner). For the Jets' sake, I really hope that Ryan doesn't change his coaching philosophy.
