    In all seriousness he was at 3rd team left guard throughout camp, I didn't see him even making the team anyway. They'll take a clean scrub backup guard over a troubled scrub backup guard.

    I didn't know anybody ever got suspended for only one game...is that because he wasn't charged with it?

    I guess cause he didn't actually fail enough drug tests, this was an off-field matter. The four-game suspensions are for 'multiple' failed drug tests.

    Happens quite often. Dareus and Blount are also suspended for 1 game this year along with a bunch of other guys.

    Aboushi likely wasn't making the team regardless.
    Now he needs to audition just to get another shot elsewhere.

    He's at worst a backup for us. Idk why some of you think he is a goner after 1 minor incident.

    Yeah. Considering this was half a year ago, I think Aboushi was upfront about this from the get go and Todd just moved on by keeping him out of the starting lineup. If he sticks around I think Todd probably sees him as a starter at some point. Otherwise he's getting cut. I doubt we'll keep him around just to be a reserve lineman. We've got enough of those who aren't suspended.
