In all seriousness he was at 3rd team left guard throughout camp, I didn't see him even making the team anyway. They'll take a clean scrub backup guard over a troubled scrub backup guard.
Just once I'd like an NFL player to say. "I'm a full functional individual. So what. I made mistake but society has no right to judge me. And you all can suck my d-ck." Just go Larry Holmes on the media. Shakespeare was right about the public mob. We need dirty laundry.
Some dumb-ass new writer will blame this on Bowles even though he was hired like 5 days later after the arrest.
I didn't know anybody ever got suspended for only one game...is that because he wasn't charged with it?
I guess cause he didn't actually fail enough drug tests, this was an off-field matter. The four-game suspensions are for 'multiple' failed drug tests.
Happens quite often. Dareus and Blount are also suspended for 1 game this year along with a bunch of other guys.
Ellis had the same punishment a few years ago under similar circumstances http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3746304 Now it makes sense why Aboushi was in TB's doghouse
Aboushi likely wasn't making the team regardless. Now he needs to audition just to get another shot elsewhere.
Yeah. Considering this was half a year ago, I think Aboushi was upfront about this from the get go and Todd just moved on by keeping him out of the starting lineup. If he sticks around I think Todd probably sees him as a starter at some point. Otherwise he's getting cut. I doubt we'll keep him around just to be a reserve lineman. We've got enough of those who aren't suspended.
