We had a litigation in Colorado 2 years ago--some podunk judge in some backwater town over some tiny $13 million issue. We crushed it at trial, the judge was outwardly mocking the defense throughout, we thought we were going to win on summary judgment. Literally every claim we had nailed. We were already counting the money. Judge wrote a 3 page decision and ruled against us on every point. Worst decision and reasoning I have ever seen but that wasn't the shocker. We were caught totally off guard considering his demeanor at trial. _

i saw that, and agree an apology was necessary on the rams walk through. The truth should be told on that, which was the Pats guys (walsh) included were there at the time the Rams were on field and shouldn't. No battery packs in order to film. But they observed and walsh recreated the play for the Pats OC. So, Spygate is fully accurate from 200o on!! You cannot deny it, just the public on the 'taping' of the rams walkthrough is wrong. Yes, the NFL lied. Demonstrably, and repeatedly. No, there is no evidence that Brady told anybody to do anything accept to tell the refs to have the balls at a LEGAL pressure. Ask Judge Berman if you don't want to listen to me. Ahh, the science. Well, to be scientific you need to have reproducible DATA, which the NFL failed to record. But, that aside, granting that all the assumptions of the Wells report were correct (they weren't, but whatever)- the TEMPERATURE of the balls when tested is the key. PV=nRT. The Patriots' balls were all tested first, while colder, and the Colts balls were tested last, while warmer. THAT is what destroys your 'same amount' argument. Science is your friend. We had local counsel try the case--not our big city lawyers. They are literally in front of the court every day, on friendly terms with the judge. And the defendant was a billionaire widely hated in Colorado and in his local hometown--a pretty famous jackass. The $13 million was chump change for both of us. _

So it's about power, both sides have lied. But the lie and cover up of the crime is worse. I say the NFL will be given stay of the suspension
No crime = no lie / no cover up. Acceptance is the first step to recovery. You guys have had erections for well over 4 hours when all you heard was the spin from leaked lies from 'league sources', but now that the NFL (ha!) thought to take it to Federal Court and encountered a judge who didn't buy their bullshit, the jig has been up. One party has agreed to testify under oath here- Brady. One side wanted the testimony to be available to the public- Brady's. One side has the truth on its side- (see a pattern here?) The judge has clearly broadcast to the NFL that it will not go well for them, and they'd better try and settle while they can. Hell, Berman even TOLD them the PRECEDENT by which he could TOSS the arbitration ruling based on what the NFL did (keeping Pash out of the hearing). The judge was all but grabbing the NFL's head and shoving it in a lawbook- FELLAS. HELLO! CASES have BEEN TOSSED for WHAT YOU HAVE DONE. How about ONE MORE shot at SETTLING? McFLY? When has Brady actually been truthful and to by his actions have painted another picture. The whole phone destruction can only, ONLY mean he had stuff to hide from the investigation. I am thinking perhaps they (NFL) did get the messages fully recovered in anticipation for the appeals in any case. You know a lot of guys lied under oath......go look em up Rapheal Palmiero, Bonds, Armstrong, i can go on. The Judge is going to lay waste to the NFLPA's contention here...... Pash, was not on trial, this was an appeal requested by Brady and his band of ambulance chasers. How it got to all this testimony is rediculous. This is about power. Put it though your thick skull. Belicheat put Brady out to dry, the pats legal counsel washed their hands of it. The whole workings in pats land were laid in code red secrecy. The NFL is not going to take a loss here......they will with a huge black eye, but the CBA was signed in blood.
You cannot sit there and tell me NOTHING was going on. There is far too much sketchy shit and circumstantial evidence to say the Pats are 100% innocent. However, I wouldn't be shocked if the judge overturned the ruling proclaiming them not guilty. Please notice the distinction between innocent (did nothing wrong) and not guilty (not enough proof of guilt but not necessarily innocent). I said above this back and fourth will never end and i stand by that for exactly the ruling and it's distinction i just mentioned.

Well, what was going on? The balls were at expected pressure if you don't ignore the Ref's recollection about which gauge he used , but trust all his other recollections (like the Wells report did). Even if you buy that convoluted pretzel of a document, what do we have? Equipment tampering. Punished , as spelled out in the rule book by a fine <$10k. COVERUP and OBSTRUCTION? This is also a reeeeeeal stretch, but there is a precedent here as well- #FavrejohnsonpicJetsemployeegate = $50k fine. This entire mess is the result of the NFL bowing to pressure from butthurt Patriots opponents to try and 'get them', failing to understand basic science, but then making it into a tsunami they couldn't escape after leaking INCORRECT but incendiary information to Chris Mortensen and getting all the haters riled up. VERY OBVIOUSLY, the NFL has been sticking its finger in the air each step of the way and preceding not based on rules or logic, but on the hysterical public reaction to LIES. They are now screwed. I love that.
