Looks different not on a fuzzy tv. "Quantum Leap", excellent program. Nothing spells badass quite like Scott Bakula.
Sorry if I don't share the widespread hating of Tom Brady. I actually consider him the second best QB playing at the moment (Aaron Rodgers) and I respect the fact he pretty much came from nowhere on the draft board to become a standout player in the same way I'll acknowledge Sherman being up there (if behind) Revis as another unlikely star. Both leave me cold on a personal level tbh but I'd kill to have that level of competence and drive at the Meadowlands. Wheter Brady is found guilty, innocent or strikes some kind of deal...........I confess to not caring a whit as its impacted the Ravens and the Colts and we've not even been good enough to be in a position to be cheated by the Pats and that more then the farcial circumstances of this case, the league's policy in general and my otherwise major gripe of 'draftday' is what truly grinds my gears. Also very much that ^
Switch TBs 4 games for a complete ban on all football related activity with any patriot player or contact with a patriot employee for the entire pre-season and I'd sign off on that. I just want the Pats to have him available for all 16 regular season games (even if he's stone cold) so there are no excuses for their subsequent record.
Oh dear lord, who knew he could more boring in print than in his press conferences? Next time I can't get to sleep I'd love to read a dissertation on why he prefers left-footed punters.
Mc Nally isn't even supposed to be near the balls on the field, here he is holding the bag for the official ball guy
Is that $8K against the player or employee involved or for the organisation i.e rather then the $1M and picks? If they get their picks back and a refund from the commish then..................................FFS!
Former Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Bill Cowher admitted that his Steelers teams stole opponents' defensive signals. In an interview with a local radio station he said: "The only thing they [The Patriots] got caught (was) doing it with a camera. We had people that always tried to steal signals. Stealing someone's signals was a part of the game, and everyone attempted to do that." Cowher continued:"Part of the things we had (were) wristbands that we were using to do it." Cowher said signal stealing "isn't even an element anymore because of the communications that take place on the field to the quarterback, to the linebacker. So it's an element of the game that doesn't exist." When asked if the Patriots' alleged signal steeling had any impact on the the Steelers' 41-27 defeat in the 2004 AFC Championship loss, Cowher explained: "what happened when we lost that game is they outplayed us, and it had nothing to do with stealing signals or cheating or anything else. They were a better football team on that day."
Any time you bring up Tom Brady with ANY fan of another team, whether its now, in 5 years, in 20 years, its going to met with the same response. HE CHEATED. Its not just Jets fans dude....its EVERY FAN thats not a pats fan, because we can all see clearly through the shit cloud that is your team.
Notice he points out the change in technology makes stealing signals almost impossible. please explain why the Patriots pushed to keep headsets off defensive players the offseason before Spygate.
and this is supposed to do what exactly? That they went along with it? Cowher is a fucking tool to this day, he only has a Super Bowl due to his QB, who he didn't want to draft. Wanted to keep minimizing the position for 15 fucking years Dude, yes did teams steal signals? Sure did. Did the pats get caught after the league warning teams to stop filming from illegal spots..... YOU DOUBLE BET!!!
C0ntrary to popular rhetoric, stealing signals was not, and is not, against the rules. The Spygate violation was for having cameras in an unauthorized location. Cameras are not allowed in areas that are accessible to the coaching staff during a game. The intent of the rule is that such footage could be disseminated during the game to gain a competitive advantage. Goodell was new on the job, and after slamming PacMan Jones for a years suspension, put out a memo to all teams to discontinue using cameras in unauthorized locations. Which is why he nuked NEP.
great point, i'll also ring in who the detractor was!!! http://usatoday30.usatoday.com/sports/football/nfl/2008-08-27-helmet-radios_N.htm http://www.nytimes.com/2008/10/05/sports/football/05defense.html?pagewanted=all&_r=0 seems to get in graces, BB switched their vote, but voted down for years
