    Today:
Berman asks for evidence of tampering, implies there is none
Berman asks for an explanation for the unprecedented punishment, and implies it is ridiculous
Berman asks if there are provisions in the rules for a fine for equipment tampering, implying that if any punishment were due that would be the way to go ($8k, BTW).
Berman suggests a 'quantum leap' between the guesses of Wells and the conclusion of Goodell

Berman STATES that arbitrations have been VACATED for failing to make witnesses available. He was referring to Wells Report Editor and NFL Legal Poobah Pash being withheld.

Basically, Berman was coming as close as he could to flat out telling the NFL- fellas, there is no there there. You have no evidence. You have not exhibited basic fairness in the initial ruling, the appeal, of the rules of your league, or of arbitration proceedings. You have brought this to my court, NFL, to validate this ruling.
Please put two and two together, gentlemen, and see where this is going to go if you don't change course.

So you’re telling me Wells didn’t ask the question straight up to the ball boys? Where was this in the Wells report (the report the judge destroyed last week)?

and you believe the reports are actually leaked by NFL....Schefter has certainly ruined his reputation by continuing these false stories. ESPN seems to be letting him hang himself.

Tom Brady gives $50,000 to the Jimmy Fund

There was a bogus report making the rounds that, in court on Wednesday, the NFL and NFL Players Association would announce a settlement resulting in no suspension for Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, no admission of guilt, and a $50,000 fine.

As it turns out, Brady will be paying $50,000 — as a donation to WEEI and NESN’s annual Jimmy Fund Radio-Telethon.

Listen live to WEEI here, and visit the Jimmy Fund’s website to give something less than $50,000. Or more, if you are so inclined and able to do so without robbing a federally-insured savings institution.

Judge Berman does not sound impressed with the 'evidence' one bit. Has repeatedly asked the NFL to point it out to him.

The NFL won the PR war by leaking (bullshit) fake evidence and red herrings. Berman's order to unseal the appeal has shown the NFL to be flat out liars.

Are you sure about that? I know refusing a drug test is considered an admission of guilt and automatic 4 games. I know the old CBA was a $25k fine but did that change? is this held to the same standard as the drug test now is? If so 4 games is spot on. I'm not even trolling this time i actually want the answer to this.

Do you think those text messages between those two idiots were fake? Or do you wholeheartedly believe they were talking about their weight? Do you think that Brady destroyed his phone for no reason?

Listen, i get that you want to defend your team, and you dont want to think that your poster boy cheated, but are you that naive? It doesnt take a rocket scientist to put 2 and 2 together.

    1) 2nd offense
    2) same culprits
    3) Text messages indicate, deflating football practice went on way before AFC Championship game

Kraft, "we reluctantly accept the league punishment."

Schefter, "Tom Brady is open to accepting some form of suspension,"

Pats fans "no concrete evidence" lol Your boy knowingly cheated...let it go.

Fuck tom....make sure the pump is attached to the
    needle.....fuckin watermelons coming

14 And one of the things we say in the report is
15 that the scientific analysis does not prove with,
16 quote, "absolute certainty" whether there was
17 tampering or not tampering. But the data ultimately
18 was sufficiently reliable that we felt comfortable
19 when we looked at the evidence in its totality.
20 And the totality of the evidence involved not
21 just the science. It involved Jim McNally calling
22 himself the deflator and saying he had not gone to
23 ESPN yet. And it involved the text message where
24 Mr. Jastremski says he talked to Mr. Brady. And
25 there's a reference to McNally must have a lot of
    1 stress getting them done.
2 If those text messages did not exist, and all
3 we had was a break in protocol and he goes into the
4 bathroom and just the science, the result might very
5 well be totally different. But when you combine the
6 break in protocol, going into the bathroom, the text
7 messages and the science, we felt comfortable
    8 reaching a judgment.
9 It was a totality of all of the evidence
10 analysis that gave us comfort in deciding it was
    11 more probable than not.

Why would the NFL want to take down one of their most celebrated players for no reason?? You think they wanted this shit to happen? Especially 2 weeks before the superbowl? What positives could the league possibly get out of this whole mess?

What suckbelicheat doesn't admit that the 25K fine is the minimum, but not total amount of fine or punishment for this condition......It's all on the CBA language that Goodell can rule on.

I think the NFL fines were light on BRady, but heavy on NE, sans Belicheat allowed to skate unscathed for some other alterior reason.

if the judge feels the evidence is not firm enough (which i disagree with),
and the defense has already conceded some obstruction to the investigation,
why not get the ball boys + Br*dy on the stand, and put the question of innocence to rest?

can't have it both ways......where you obstruct an investigation and then cite insufficient evidence afterwards..

oh it's a good cause for sure, but that equates proportion of wealth to what he could offer.

it's like me putting a penny into salvation army collection jar at christmas. It's sad
