Jim was a great player and a real clubhouse character, as you can tell by the goatee shaving picture with Bake Turner and Cornell Gordon
Erik McMillan 1988-1992. Deadspin had a list of the 100 worst NFL players in history and they had him on the list despite the 2 pro bowls. I think thats unfair. He was a little overrated and like they said he did have a tendency to just hang back and get interceptions, (as if interceptions are a bad thing?) but 100 worst in the game...ever? yeah right deadspin
I really like the old, muddy, black and white in the trenches pics. Looks absolutely brutal. Willie Joe pics never get old either.
10 more to Joe Willie, I have a ton of him...I agree I love the old Shea photos with the mud and the cutout Infield
here is the list. http://deadspin.com/5690535/the-bottom-100-the-worst-players-in-nfl-history-part-1 lots of Jets on it, which in most cases I'd say is valid... Vernon Gholston, Alex Van Dyke, Browning Nagle.. but McMillan is an absurd choice. I think the guy who wrote it is a Jets fan because there are lots of Jets references and stuff. I could be wrong but he seems to know a lot about the Jets despite being wrong as hell about McMillan
Retart...Chad Cascadden, Chad wasn't a starter was a special teams ace, a situational pass rusher...by the way he sacked John Elway twice In the 1998 AFC Championship Game
and to think most of those guys were playing for a ham sandwich. Compared to today's contracts it has to make them sick
Definitely a Jets fan, way too many Jets on that list and he called Bosworth a "poor man's Stan Blinka". _
haha because he left his iPad at his house and promised the guys he would show them this cool cat video on YouTube so they are making him use the desktop and picking on him for it
You got some funny responses, but if you want to know what those really are, they are electric shavers. IIRC, the Jets all started growing beards down the stretch run in '68. It may have been against league policy to wear facial hair and they were ordered to shave them off. Joe Willie got $10k to shave it off on national TV during the Thanksgiving Day game. He endorsed an electric shaver. No one else did. If you look closely, you'll see they're shaving off Hudson mustache & beard. I believe this photo is a send yup of Joe Willie's commercial.
Deadspin doesn't know what they're talking about. McMillan was the best player on the team for a couple of years- albeit some bad teams. His career did kind of crash and burn suddenly though.
