He is a blow hard, Yankees, Giants and horse racing, that's all he knows. I have not listened to him in over 20 years.

The jets are being professional with regards to their relationship with the media as a whole, it's not about mike, but give him time, he will eventually start acting like a jerk towards them and they will be forced to cut him off.

 

I like Francessa, especially when I have an upset stomach and need to vomit.

 

Someone forget to tell Fatcessa, Parcells is no longer there...moron, know it all, who knows nothing, never played a sport in his life, except the Nathan's hot dog eating contest at Coney Island...

 

Francessa: "Tell me, hows your first camp going?"

Bowles: "Going goo...."

Francessa: "What about Geno getting punches?"

Francessa: "Hows Marshall working out?"

Francessa: "Are you glad to have Revis back?"

Bowles: "Revis is a true....."

Francessa: "Back to Geno".

 

And then he lost when he found out it wasn't about how many he can fit in his mouth at once.

First time I listened to him in 6-10 months and boy did I forget what an awful interviewer he is. He questions are quite good but he does not let the person complete one sentence without interjecting his opinion. I mean Bowles realized it early in the conversation and just talked over the interruptions but holy smoke this guy could do interviews without the actual person present. And as far asking tough questions, it depends what team and what person. He did not ask the the Giants GM Jerry Reese how could you leave the 2 safety spots to a rookie # 2 and rookie # 5 pick because you did not land one, not one FA for that position? Nope, just a little comment about the OL which the GM gave some BS about the recent draft picks. Never mind the # 1 pick is clearly a project and is not ready to start but now is a starter. Nope, its like he's Sean Hannity interviewing a Bush. What a joke. I turned the Jet camp day off by 3pm. Between him, the 200 commercials and the 11 updates I had enough

 

Granted, as others have mentioned, he's a bad interviewer. Francessa is very smart and knows his shit. It's ashame that he let's his bias get in the middle of his knowledge because he so obviously doesn't like teams that aren't the Giants or Yankees.

He'd really be great if he wasn't so pompous IMO.
