that sentence is money. We finally have bench players who aren't schmucks.

big sexy giving up another Solo shot. And too think he was 6-1 to start the season....

He needs to start and we need a 6man rotation until the playoffs. Save some innings for Harvey and Thor and allow them to be unleashed in October.

TC really needs to forget about Parnell being out there. This is not the 2012 version. Is he even throwing 95 anymore?

Robles is so much better and was fire in the Nats series. No doubt in my mind he doesnt give up 3 straight hits if he was put in that situation tonight. Even Torres starting the inning would've been fine.

As soon as I saw 39 on the mound I knew we were going to give up atleast a run.

Still should've been able to score more than 1 run against a pitcher like Happ but its really easy to see why we lost tonight.

Parnell is trash!!!!!!!!!! Should have let Clippard or Familia go more than one inning. If you do, you let the guy who does sit tonight and the other guy closes out the game, if need be. Then vice-versa on Sunday! Unbelievable!

Yeah, you can't trust him in a close game. He's only for mop up duty. They have Robles, etc. who can do a lot better job than that.

Why isn't Logan Verrett getting a chance? Dude is easily better than Parnell. Who knows what the deal is with Rafael Montero.

Verrett will most likely be a Sept callup and may even get a couple spot starts down the stretch but yeah I agree. He was solid when he was here. The good thing about our pitching is our staff is so good we rarely need a 6th or 7th inning guy on most nights. But it would be nice to know there is no weak link out there that is gonna give away the game every single time he pitches.

I wouldnt wish for a player to hit the DL but I think the team needs to come up with some issue for him and get someone else in here for a few weeks.

More wasted chances. Our team isnt built for longer games. Mainly because the back of our pen isnt great but also cause it takes us about 5 innings before figuring out a pitcher.

Joe Blanton pitches well against us??! G.T.F.O.H

Hopefully Harvey can stop the bleeding tomorrow.

I dreaded playing the Pirates. They have one of the best records in MLB. And have been very tough to beat.
