Yup. Iraq war disaster with its trillions and thousands of troops lost (silence) vs Email servers (OUTRAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!). Talk radio's gotta fill the airwaves somehow to distract their gullible sheep. Then the same people complain about everything being expensive and not making enough money (you see this on this very board). Instead of focusing on real issues, they got sucked up constantly with distractions. Do I feel sorry for this folks? Nope.
This is where you repeatedly fail. One has nothing to do with the other. One is current news, the other is something that happened a decade ago. Why do you repeatedly bring up the Iraq war when it's completely unrelated to the topic at hand? Is that some sort of odd touretts twitch you have? Hillary storing top secret info on a private server that isn't properly secured is both illegal and irresponsible. If the allegations are true she's put our national security at risk because she, as per her MO, was more concerned with her SELF and her future political gains than the country. This is not the type of behavior the country expects or should condone from it's presidential candidates. As we're in the middle of a presidential election cycle this is absolutely relevant. That's true regardless of how frequently you mention the Iraq war. I mean if George Bush were running for president again I'm sure there'd be plenty of discussion about how much he blew as a president. But he's not, so yea. Also, LOL at people acting like FOX isn't a legit news source.
Can you believe how much they screwed the pooch at the Alamo, forget current event we need to get to the bottom of the screw up down in Texas, look at how many men died. Legit to some is only that which expresses their own views. If you ask Pcl he thinks CNN is a moderate news outlet. For myself I will wait till the field gets winnowed down, in the mean time I think I'll just find some more Hitlery cartoons.
CNN is a moderate news outlet. I am not sure how far right you have to be to see it as liberal. But somewhere out there, no doubt.
Other than playing gotcha with someone who the right wingers see as the Dem's likely best candidate for 16, can someone explain exactly what it is that they think Clinton did that was so bad with her emails? Do they think she was knowingly disseminating classified info, perhaps to some perfidious recipient? Now if she did that, you would really be onto something. Now of course we all get that the coverup can be worse than the original crime. But I haven't seen any indication that she or those for whom she is responsible have been doing anything of that sort. She's turned over the server. Of course those who hated her well before this got started want to see the worst at work here. But those people are agenda driven and have no cred. Where's the beef here? It's really all about politics.
Knowingly? Not disseminated, that isn't the point. We aren't talking espionage, we are talking abuse of power, something lefties like you are comfy with as long as the right apparatchick is the abuser. She broke the law regarding the use and storage of classified documents. You have no cred here, as you are clearly unwilling to address the abuse issue, and claim, if she is not a spy than move on.org.
There is nothing the Repubs could contrive that would put her in any kind of legal problem. At least that's what Jeffrey Toobin said last night on CNN. If she made a foolish mistake and exposed classified info on a private server then it could hurt her candidacy which is the GOP endgame. If she wasn't running for Pres they wouldn't give a shit what she did. Because they're usually too busy fighting amongst themselves anyways.
so she got rid of her personal email turned over the work related stuff. I see nothing wrong here. Those personal emails can still be recovered though. Going to take forever to try and retrieve "everything" seeing that she got thousands of emails.
did you miss the part where they wiped the server before turning it over? Maybe I'm misunderstanding but when I hear the term "wiped" I assume there is _nothing_ on it. btw, she's full of shit as usual and the wrong part is if there really were top secret emails on that server as alleged.
She is pretty arrogant about it. And even made some unfunny jokes about it. But the contents of the reported classified emails: it hasn't been determined yet if anything was top secret. The term classified can be used for just about anything. Sounds like some people just want her to be guilty.
i don't really see the issue with the emails, especially the using of her personal email. People forget that someone this high level has everyone in the world trying to contact them. .gov & .mil emails are just flooded by people. someone finds the template to hillary's state.gov email and she's constantly having to sift through real contacts vs.BS. an email from the head of state in Pakistan gets lost in 5,000 emails from concerned citizens maybe? I'm willing to bet a lot of high level gov't officials use their personal emails only for reasons above. it could be a case of an older person not being technically proficient. its not like we haven't seen that at our workplaces. or maybe she is technically proficient and as such hated the outdated state.gov layout and couldn't make it work. maybe she simply just preferred to use her personal email and to me thats not a signal of impropriety, just personal preference. Condi Rice rarely used her email at all, so she's technically having "classified" conversations without any documentation... there's plenty to pick her apart about. lets focus on her effectiveness & decisions she made as opposed to what kind of email she prefers to use
So you're cool with her housing top secret info on a personal server that isn't protected with government security measures because it's convenient to her? We're talking about the highest level top secret info that is only to be discussed with authorized personnel within specific confines for the purpose of national security. You don't feel that's an easy target for hackers? That's not to say our wonderful government does a great job themselves, so maybe that's a good point (but still doesn't make it OK or legal).
idk. I suppose thats a good point but a .gov email is also more susceptible to potential hacking attempt as well. if she has a private email that no one knows about its not likely to be attacked because hackers wouldn't know what the email is. also, i don't have ultra confidence in the government servers anyway. its not like they are an impenetrable fortress and every thing else sucks. lastly, we don't know what/if any top secret information was shared via email. i'd like to think government officials are smart enough not to simply email top secret information that present real security risk. I'd hope they are approaching that differently but who knows. Hillary could've used her personal email to set up dinner plans with the Saudis, lets say, but the real conversations were held in person. idk. Hillary is an easy target and people like to resort to dirty politics with her. thats why I am skeptical that this is nothing but dirty politics. could not be, though I suppose.
This is political alright - from both sides. Just cut the b.s. and hand over the server without it being 'wiped clean' if there's nothing to hide. ^^ ^ that in the form of 30,000 emails.........yeah, ok, whatever........
We don't know for sure but that is the allegation and that is what the FBI is investigating. http://dailycaller.com/2015/08/11/top-secret-emails-stored-in-hillary-clintons-private-server/
Again where is verification that the emails in question were top secret. Or highest top secret. Link please and not Breitbart.
