You can have a heated argument, with no intention of a fight and if one person goes out and cold cocks the other in the face -- It is a sucker punch. There is no concrete evidence that Geno put his finger in his face (contradictory reports) and no concrete evidence said anything of the sort. What is clear is that Geno was not in the vicinity of IK and IK came and sought him out, evidenve that her was already in an agitated state. The god damn Geno hate and IK love is ridiculous. Geno sucks, he is horrible but I can no way defend what IK did in any way whatsoever. Punching Geno is 100% on him -- he is a fucking grown man for christ's sake.
If any of that is true smith should have just walked away as a any leader of a team would have done until IK calmed down..if you are NOW going to say he did and IK chased him down and cold cocked him, prove it.

Whoa whoa whoa--I don't "love" IK but from what I can glean from the situation--from all the reports that have come out SINCE yesterday--this was a verbal argument between two guys facing each other--no one was sitting, minding their business. If reports are true that Geno was pointing in IKs face and made contact--that's how punches get thrown. You're use of the term "sucker punch" is looser that any use I've heard, maybe that's the problem. So pretty much every fight that ends with one punch--a cold cock punch--when two guys are facing each other is--to you-- a "sucker punch". BTW, are you dismissing the second part of what Bowles said? He ALSO said "cold cocked" and "whatever you want to call it". _
It's funny that folks are still relying on things reported 2 days ago rather than what has been reported since. Yeah, Geno was sitting in his locker stall lamenting the death of his dear friend, was writing a $600 check out to IK and IK came out of left field and way-layed him. Too funny. _
Show us one report he wasn't? Plus show me a report how IK approached Geno? For all we know he just started screaming at Geno about his money. Like I said in another post if IK came up to Geno in a adult way saying hey man where my money you owe me? Then Geno started screaming at IK and putting his finger in his face then I will be the first one to say I don't blame IK for punching Geno. I want to hear the whole story and then I will form opinion. We are only hearing part of it.

You're not hearing much because anybody who was there and I assume there were more there than smith and ik will be asked why the hell didn't you stop it if they now come out and say what really happened.
Some of you guys just don't get it. We don't fucking live in the stone ages, we live in a civilized society. I am over 50 years old and have been in countless very heated verbal arguments in my adult life. Never in my adult life have I ever punched anyone in the face regardless of whether thy wagged their finger in my face. I also have never been punched in the face in my adult life. The last time I punched someone in the face I was probably 13 or 14 years old. IK punched him in the face. Case Closed Geno should press charges against this punk.
No just the civilized part. I would love to hear all of you guys bragging about how you punch someone in the face over a petty dispute.
