People do that. If you like the game of football, you watch the team closest to you. Who really gives that much of a shit anyway? I like my team but I'd consider myself more of a fan of the game of football than a fan of the patriots. I'd watch any game, any where.

then you have to be upset with the trend of the game.

Its def not the same as it was in the 70's and 80's

But it's more popular.....NFL is about front page news 24/7 good or bad. This Deflategate shit sells

At some point, a Fan needs to have the wherewithal to sue in federal court over being cheated, out of a fair game for his viewing dollar, be it cable or ticket.

This is a shell game the NFL is going to throw the case, so Buck Frady plays against the Stillers, but the Judge will not affirmatively rule against the Commish being able to rule unequivocally in the best interests of the game.

Consider what is really happening here.

    McDonalds hire's a regional manager.

    Regional manager says...

    You violated company policy.

    four day suspension without pay.

Federal Judge is going to intervene..really?

Not a fan of Roger, but the Courts have no business in a business related decision of this sort.
    Period.

The Courts have no place in this.

    Period.

At the end of the day, Brady is a franchise employee that violated franchise policy.

The commissioner is the manager in charge of enforcing that policy.

The fact that Kraft is allowing this to proceed, says that HE is a scumbag, without honor.

The other 31 NFL franchises not extending Amicus Briefs, supporting the Commissioner, says that this is a shell game to get Brady on the field for opening night.

Yep, a ball boy on his own is going to deflate the balls because he "thought it would be good for his quarterback."

Having integrity is the antithesis of "sissification."

Right now you'd have to think that Tom Brady will be playing opening day for NEP. Even if Berman gives him at least a game. Chances are he'll give him half or two. And Brady will appeal. According to Berman that could set up a court battle in Appeals court that could take two to three years. Reports say that if an appeal the NFL would not try to stop Brady from playing. I'm sure there's a legal reason for this. So if 2 or 3 years down the road Brady loses he'd just retire. I guess.

Not much different than most cases, my best friend is in a custody battle with his ex and he has told me the judge doesn't really care about a lot of shit. Just get in make your case shut the fuck and sit down.

They don't want to have their precious time at Bushwood cut into over petty bullshit.

That's a great comparison, I made one similar many many many pages back about an employee breaking company rules and the boss punishing him.

Anyone read Brady's deposition about all the shit he had put on footballs, for prep. Is this ridiculous? Some substance that sticks to receivers gloves, but when it's a rainy game makes the footballs more slippery. Now I know why br*dy always where's a receiver glove on his throwing hand

Why can't the NFL supply the footballs?

I actually think this modification is more important than the inflation of the ball itself.

New footballs have a film around them that slips like crazy.
