When Cargo is on fire he looks like the best player in the league. Only problem is when he's not on he looks like the worst. Really no middle ground with him.
Niese did a nice job of limiting the damage after the Cargo blast. Rocks can score runs but their staff/pen is the reason why we should handle them this series. Its gotta be among the worst if not the worst in the league.
43-7 when scoring 4+.. this team is a serious threat. THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL we should start worrying about innings with these young pitchers. If they make the playoffs, let them loose. All hands on deck.

Matz getting a rehab start in A ball Saturday. Sandy said Sep't. 1st the likely return Ima say Wright figures into that scenario also, depending on how things develop over the next few weeks. Not sure how eligibility works for the post season, but the 40 man roster, effective Sep't 1, will really give them options moving forward
Harvey has been so good lately. Nice showings by Cuddy and Lagares tonight too. Also Grandy with another huge at bat. Might not be anyone else on offense Id rather have up there in that type of situation. He has really learned to lay off those breaking balls from lefty relievers.
Also saw that Plawecki was optioned. Makes sense with d'Arnaud healthy. Both guys should be playing everyday and he'll be back up in September anyways.
I was kind of surprised by this move. But his average was starting to dip. Plus they wanted to give him more at bats so he can be ready for the playoffs. I have not doubt that if they make it he'll be on the playoff roster.
Yes, good to see. I'll add in Tejada with the nice inside out swing for the big hit through the right side that got things going. Cuddy started off both rallies, and looks good, as does Lagares. Good to see.
Gotta keep it rolling tonight with DeGrom on the mound. At least take 3 of 4 vs Rockies. A big test is the Pittsburgh series this weekend.. Colon, Niese, and Harvey. Gotta take 1 of the first 2 so we have a shot to win that series.
